I drove the 660CC Alto and indeed it was pleasurable drive. The A/C, suspension, comfort and even pick were good. Much better than Cultus (won't even insult it by comparing it with PKDM Alto and Mehran). Having said that, I am not comfortable at all with paying 10lac for 660CC. I want to have an all-purpose car that can be driven fast if need be, and can be taken to Nathiagali/Kalam/Swat if need be (just giving examples, i am not a regular long distance traveler, just for tourism).

So that leaves me with 1000CC or above cars. Since good Passo's are touching 10lac, I have to decide between:

-Passo 2007/2008 1.0 L
-Passo 2006/2007 1.3 L
-PKDM Swift 2010 1.3 L

All would be the same price (Passo 2007 1.0L might be 75-100K cheaper), all would have almost same Odometer reading on Pakistani roads (Swift would have lesser reading overall).

Yes bro but Im not talking about the difference between 1.0L & 1.3L, I was saying that the vitz '07 -'08 itself would be out of his range which is 9Lacs.

I will be making the deal on Monday inshAllah. But I am very confused between 2 options:
- Passo 2007/Registered 2013, 9.30 Lac (1-2 touchups, meter showing 70,000KM's, 2 Airbags version)
- Suzuki Certified Swift DX 2011 10.40 Lac (1-2 touchups, 50,000KM's, 6 Months Suzuki warranty on engine + suspension, Not converted to CNG, DX version so no ABS)

Confusion:
My budget is 9Lac, but I can manage 10.4Lac if the option is worth it. What I am confused is that is JDM quality really that good that a 2007 JDM Passo will be better than 2011 PKDM Swift? I personally like Swift very much, and low mileage is not an issue for me. But will it be a good bargain over JDM Passo? I like both cars, I like Swift more than Passo due to shape and power, but DX version is not fully comparable with Passo since it lacks ABS, Keyless Entry, Airbags.

Also, which will be trouble free for atleast 2 years?

Vitz is no doubt a good car if its 1300 one .Passo seriously wiered car.. M talking about swift not cultus..drive a swift and then comment Bhai..don't make conclusion without driving anything

If u can extend ur budget to 10 lacs and can afford low mileage, then only go for a Vitz, trust me it has all the features u r looking for,It has a decent shape,beautiful interior, very comfortable and gives a feeling of driving a big car. Passo and Swift r nothing infront of Vitz. In the price of a 2007 passo, u can easily get a 6-7 model vitz and if possible get a 1300cc one.
You wont regret ur decision if u buy a Vitz

Pocket rocket means ...superb response when accelerating. ..it kicks any other 1300cc car due to extra responsive engine

I ended up with a PKDM 2011 Swift DX, 43,000KM's driven, one fender and 2 bumpers painted but rest in great condition, for 10.45 Lac. Just couldn't ignore the beautiful shape of Swift Shall post the pictures soon.

Thank you very very much for all the help guys. I started off with the plan to buy Cultus, but thanks to you I moved to Passo, and then from there to Vitz, and finally ended up at Swift. Had it not been for you, I might have been driving a Cultus now
