Not dependent on milage but the tire's tread..a Tyre must have atlease 3-4mm tread..Never ride a ganja tyre
still i think we don't have exact figures but bikers i think 15,000 to 20,000km is average or max life of motorcycle tyre Whats Your Opinion?
hahahahahaha...... :D:D:D:D
It all depends upon the road upon which the ride is take plus the driving style of the driver because in last three yeras ui have change two tyres. One stock and one crusier style. Now second crusier style tyre installed
I have suzuki 150cc 9500+km, but it seems that I have to change its stock tyre as as its centre got very thin... 10 months used
Zapper tyre Sucessfully running 31000 km. Happy with the performance .
Hi,
I bought HONDA LIVO in 2015 Sept 2017 and exactly and run 38000 KMS.
The life of tubeless tyre is 30000 KMS and now I need to change the Tyre. The grip of the tyre is already been scrambled. So I think Tubless tyres are good compared to ordinary tyres. I got puncture only once.
I have Avenger220cc bike and the new tyres came with bike is now running 38,700Kms... Going to change front tyre alone..
well, i cant say 10000 or 15000 but yes, we shld check for the design and condition and have a tyre with good and clear tread design to have safer iding
This year I'll ride the bike at least 16500km this is a service fighter 8ply tyre
Can you please show the tread least wear marker (by attaching a pic for ready reference).
CG stock rear panther was dead at 8k,
YBR stock rear service has done 15k, i think it will die at 20k because cut marks are appearing and slided on wet today.
And I have completed 48000kms on CG125 rear tyre (Golden Boy) Made In Korea and still doing the job.Front stock company fitted (Servis) changed after 34000kms.
My Bike GS150 has completed 40000+kms on stock rear tyre (Panther) recently replaced with panther trekker both are Made In Pakistan and after doing 15000+km pather trekker is still doing its job with Great grip
Front stock company fitted (Pather) still did not changed as its has done 55000+kms
Bike got new rear tyre after 50,000kms.
what tyre is this and for how much money?
Shinko (Made in Korea)Rs. 4,500/
where can I get this in lahore? and how does it compare to other tyres? i.e: AHL's and panther's etcSecondly, do you have some protection on the tank or is it just waxed?
I got this tyre from Quetta in Feb-2022 and manufacturing date is 0418 (4th week of 2018) but so far going well. Traveled from Lahore to Quetta and back without any problem. Not sure if you can find this in Lahore but do check at Shan Traders Mcleod Road. Moreover using Golden Boy and Shinko Tyres in my bike from last 8 years and found these way better than local(s) on highways and gravel.
I see, that's good.I have a 2011 Cg125 and i feel like the engine is noisier than it was around a couple of months ago. I feel like the noise comes from the right side (Clutch side cover). Can you guide me about what could be the possible cause? Its almost 50k driven now. I ride it everyday for about 35 kms. Oil has always been timely changed at 900-1000 kms intervals and lately i have been using 20w-40 by Havoline.
