Airbags at 200km/h prove to be even more dangerous b'coz your head collides with the air bag at a even higher speed!

LOL air bag hain bhai steel pillars nahe hain. SRS system is designed to protect from crushing head and chest injuries not to injure the person MORE in case of a greater speed.

No seatbelts = no air bags. Its a SUPPLEMENT restraint system, not an individually working safety device. It depends upon the usage of seatbelts by the occupants.

It worked EXACTLY perfect, if the bags would've deployed, both occupants would be having broken necks.

I hope the passengers survived the accident. Immature minds talk about the top speeds of these local made cars and the bhp's and which one is fast. These are ordinary sedans meant for going from point A to B and not for racing. These civics are not lamborghinis which most of the emotional fanboys prentend it to be. May Allah protect us all from any accidents and give some sense to these immature maniacs. They put the lives of others in danger too.

People just press gas pedal on this car and it looks slow on inside but its one heck of a fast passenger cars!
They just forget laws of physics and BAM-----!
Tyres can't do anything and to save it from getting rolled so often , this car badly needs Vehicle Stability Control (VSC)

Thought it was not a head on collision! (of car :D) so the airbags didn't deployed! In rollover , seatbelt pretensions just work if there of no RSCA! The car got bad hit underneath though! But rims that may be damage due to rollover!
So no airbags deployed!

Thanks to all who showed care for the passengers, let me tell you there were total 2 passengers both on front me & other one my friend, i myself were wearing the seat belts, the other one didn't during the roll he came over and attached to the front driver (my) side wind screen. just little injury to him. both are fine and sound Thanks honda for the strong pillars.
car was new, i just changed tire Michelin energy saver, and rims. during drive inner side half rim went away (pics showed down) and the tire is still new found back far away of the road from accident site no any scratch on the tire not at all
(these all are rumours troller came etc or else)

Installed from karachi guess so this one may b repaired might be or else just dnt knw i Contact him he said the rims were not, well speed less then 120km/h

this is base model prosmatec Civic ..it doesnot has factory fitted alloys ... so these alloy rims were after market ...

the Rim collapsed ... bad case of faulty/fake alloy rims

That's pretty dangerous. He might have saved a couple of thousand bucks on the aftermarket chinese OEM copies, little did the poor guy know in the end he'd be losing in millions.

I am really glad to hear that he is safe aswell as his passenger.

But the airbags didn't depoly on his side even when he was wearing the seatbelt.

Good to know that passengers are safe. This is a clear lesson. One should not go for Chinese rims at all (at least I won't do that in future now). It's better to drive car on oem steel wheels.
By the way air bags in this model do open up but only in case of front collision.
