REG NUMBER LEG 1542
White Mistubishi Truck, Driver: Male 50+ , white beard, white hat
Extreme aggressive behaviour and hazardous driver.
Does not understand that flashing people out of the way and trying to smash them into the side of the barrier is nothing short of INHUMANE!!
I will go to the end of the earth to get this driver off the road.
I do not care if he loses his job and his family suffers because I cannot afford to see dead motorcyclists and female drivers being abused like this.

A very nice woman was driving in front of me and I thank Allah that he didn't smash into her and I somehow braked and moved.
Motor cycle riders came next to me to tell me how lucky I was and they were completely shocked themselves. So this is not normal in Pakistan at all. I have seen some stupid driving here but no one deliberately tries to take you off the road.

I would have ended up in the Canal and probably very badly injured and a wrecked car. Lucky I have amazing brakes on the RX8.
I managed to pull him over while he was still flashing and going crazy. He lied through his teeth as expected. After I looked at him straight in the eyes and pushed him back against his truck and that's when he realised that this is serious. Intimidation is not something any of us will take anymore.

I do not care of this is a government car.
This is how our so called bearded elders put our lives at risk?

The majority of people at this time in the morning actually drive really nicely here. We need to rid ourselves of these absolute disgusting drivers who think they can behave how they want.

Every Police station in Lahore will know by the end of today and I will make sure this mentally sick person is off the road.

If the driver needs councelling go for it if not changed. He should get his license cancelled. Being on the road is a big responsibility as we are sharing it with many people who have their own journeys of the life. One can never know just hitting one person can cause a big blow out to a big household.

I am less worried about people like me, I can manoeuvre cars very very well and if anyone has driven an RX8 they will know how quick they are to respond.

What of the normal middle class women driving their little Mehran's and battered old cars to work? Have you seen how terrified they are of this type of driving? These are our normal citizens and they are the daughters of this land.

Don't do anything for me, I can handle myself but .... they cannot.

I guess they must all take a deep breathe before venturing out there. Sad isn't it.

You should have asked him which department does the vehicle belong to, in that way it would've been easier to point it out and have it stopped! Gov plates change more frequently than the weather, so sadly, this guy and more like him would still be out there!

Yes, imagine a woman in a Mehran was in my place. No way she could have stopped because these cars don't have great brakes and steering response. Could have been a mother and bread winner of an entire family.

You can see it in their eyes in the rear view mirrors. They hate driving here.

My wife for example is an amazing driver. Has driven most of the M power cars ever made bar a few. She won't drive here until I buy her a 95 land cruiser and still she is not sure if she wants to drive.

Most of the normal people drive good here, it's these pesky drivers who have been given these big nice toys and they abuse their power.

This is my ancestral home. These are my brothers and sisters I have waited so long to see and live amongst.

I love Pakistan. And many of my international friends from all corners of the earth want to come and visit.

Another very important thought.

I noticed there was a very respectable young lady (MashAllah) sitting in the back.

She was using her phone. Really in her own world going where she does as normal.

These big 4x4's are so comfortable that she was totally unaware of what the driver was doing.

The way someone sits tells you everything about their comfort level at the time.

Now,

RX8 vs big truck like this.

Suppose I had not braked (ABS came on fully) or my tyres were old.

That truck is so high and so big it, the rx8 front would have become a ramp for the rear wheel.

You get to know these things when you make friends with cops in England and spend time with them. Traffic cops tell you many stories about the unbelievable things they have seen. And I have seen those american videos where trucks do swipe across cars and do FLIP.

One of the things all readers can do is the following:

Do Dua. Don;'t care what sect or religion you are. Just do dua to the Creator that he deals with these people for us.

I myself only got out of hospital yesterday with kidney stone and kidney infection.

I have to come to work. My boys need to carry on earning their money.

So I am going to leave this to you gentlemen.

Don't do anything and do not lose your temper or act in haste.

But do discuss it. And make dua. Real men make dua because they know that the power of the Creator is the only power.
He can see all and hear all. So, understand, we are just HUMAN.

The point being, if we all do dua together and for the same cause then there is no question. He hears.

Unfortunately I have had to be very very harsh with some people here.
I am sorry to Pakistan for this. It is not a nice experience.

I tried to drive like one should. But they all under took me, bashed my rear light and my bumper. I let them go because it was always my fault.

I even paid one boy half the damage of his car because he insisted that I am a foreigner and I am always on the wrong.

So I had to be harsh. VERY HARSH sometimes. Someone nearly ran me and my son over going to DHA mosque on a Friday. He accelerated towards us because he was clearly in a hurry. We were already crossing the road and had he driven at a normal sensible speed we had a massive massive gap. But no, his time is more important than the life of my son and I.
So I kicked his car as hard as I could as he passed by. My SON is only 12. I would rather he die on the battlefield saving other humans than run over by an ignorant 40+ man in a shirt and a tie.

I have pulled people out of their cars multiple times. I very sadly had to tell off a girl as she went round the round-a-bout the wrong way.
She had a little kid in the car, no seatbelt. Proper nice good looking educated fashionable young girl. Clearly highly intelligent.
Worst thing for me was that I was in the Pajero and she was in a smaller car. Can they not see?
Do we have to really shout at them to save their own lives and get into trouble with the Police every single time? Then they let us go when they see what we are doing.

you know what the worst thing is?

I drive both my cars to places like Shadbagh and the place where the Food is on the Street. My kids like it.

Though they drive all over the place, they are lovely people. They do not come near the car. They do touch sometimes in traffic and it's just because it's like a dream for them to see a really really nice shiny well detailed car. They give way unless they really are in a hurry and they let you know with their eyes. In traffic they talk to you about the car and then sometimes we even pull over and have a tea.
They look after my car for me. I take them out in it.
If a ball comes near it they go bezerk.

It's the sophisticated so called parts which have the, as my sister puts is, 'Bathameez peeps'

My family is coming here to visit to check this place out soon. These people are coming from a lot of hate on Muslims as many of you are aware of.

I feel sorry for the public now who misbehaves. I'm going to give them both my cars and a Landcruiser. They know I love my cars and even the wax better not get scratched.

Centrally monitored surveillance camera's should be installed at important traffic stops throughout every major city and any such complain should be investigated and whoever found guilty should be fined or jailed.

I am going to post up some videos from youtube to show the seriousness of this type of driving.

I guess it might shock us all to see this.

We can all fix this in the most peaceful way. I have a really sensible and quick easy plan to politely get the message across.

To teach these people to respect other citizens.
They are in a big 4x4 and they can clearly see well over a low RX8 and the next two cars in front.

So his intention is basically to flash everyone out of the way and drive like a madman if they don't move.

And this is after I gave hazard lights. After I made a hand gesture telling him people are in front. Motorcycles on my left.
ALL driving like nice respectable citizens. A few people in a hurry, we give them way and allow them to go in and out because we understand they have a boss who doesn't understand.

But this!! HE CAN SEE EVERYTHING.

It is the attitude of who is bigger from these older gentlemen. They have so much arrogance and pride in them it's unreal.

I mean, we all have it but we have a limit. We don't go smashing people off the road at speed!

In slow traffic I may block a off an under taker but I won't try to ram him off the road. You have to do it, there are children and women on the back of these motorbikes who they are side swiping. I have seen awful accidents in phase 5. Women and children fallen because of rich boy who thinks it's funny to sweep in and out. They don't have to him them. They can just make them jump and the motorcycle is off balance.

It's actually really bad out there in some ways if you think about it. A select few are basically running terror on the roads.

youtube is full of videos like out roads. Do some searches and you will see loads of incidents from the USA of a few bad drivers and what they cause.

Notice, our society is driving quite decent now so it is nearly ok to compare.

Also there are videos about what can happen when using mobiles while driving and operating the radio.

You should start posting these videos on your Facebook pages.

Once they all start seeing the impacts of no seat belts and the above they will change.

Many young children get injured without seat belts and what about the green little wagons' with kids packed in them.

There are really good government produced videos on youtube and they are really shocking.

And every time... it's the driver. Not his boss. Not the person instructing. The driver.

I agree with you regarding the whole matter but if you managed to stop him you should have dealt with him right away because the number is not registered to any Mitsubishi and same number vehicles are with IG punjab or CM monitoring cell, No way you can trace the person now.

I did deal with him It was utter humiliation for him in the middle of the road.

He won't forget his meeting.

And there is always the day of resurrection for him.
