I m looking for a Air Snorkel for my Pajero 1986, Pls let me know if any one knows where to get it from.

its useless... its only good if you are going to take your pajero in water hood deep. But before that you need to water proof your axles, gear box and a lot more things...

and some people think it gives more HPs but the fact of the matter is that it restricts air flow at high RMPs

Who said it restricts airflow at high rpms, it doesnt restrict anything, if you fit it properly & pipe is connected properly. Otherwise snorkel gives good HP to engine, colder & cleaner air to the engine. Its not just for water crossing!

I have checked a lot of international forums on this issue and people who have wasted dollars have said this. you can do google your self. It restricts airflow at high RPMs and is counter productive and does not give more HPs

I am also looking for the same thing in the same city. Preferably a local one. For me its Reison' de' eitre would be water crossings. But this whole talk of waterproofing the gear box and axel and fuel pump and what not.

Its kinda disconcerting. Reason why I want one. I wiped out a diesel engine.. like totally.. While driving in the rain. (Nissan Sunny.) Stranded in the dark... late night.. me and my female family member.. water all around..
its being a decade but that incident still scares me.. And I am looking at an 87 Pajero with Auto locking hubs.. Once the requisite checks are done. I will try and procure a snorkel.

If I can find the darned thing.. and 'if' I can afford it that is.
