AJK Trip planning advice/info needed

thanks for the info...was this patch on the chikaar-sudhan gali road or while going towards the zilzaal lake? One more question what was the travel time from chikaar to sudhan gali?

some part of road before zalzal lake and some part toward going sudhan gali was in very bad shape.
I am not sure about the time as we had many stops inbetween.

What is the road condition from Bagh to Doa khan, can car go upto Doa Khan?

one can go upto reshian on car. Bagh Sudhan Gali chikar road is not in good condition at some places but manageable.

So uptill now the following route is confirmd
Islamabad - Rawalakot - Banjosa - Toli Pir - Lasdana - Sudhan Gali - Bag - Dao Kan - Resian - Leepa - Muzaffarabad - Sharda

Now i need sugestion/ contect info of good rest hoses on following places it could be ajk tourisum of PWD or Forest or any other but should be located on seecin beauty location or river side

Banjosa - Lasdana - Dao Khan - Muzaffarabad - Sharda

Most of the roads around Bagh, Muzaffarabad and Neelum Valley are under construction so please try and use a SUV/ 4X4 if possible and do not drive after Magrib.

I can suggest staying in Karen instead of Sharda, as the rest house is on the river side and you can view the indian occupied Kashmir from room window (80 meters). Rent was Rs. 800 for a double room (Tourism Dept) few months back and you can reach Sharda in 45 minutes.

Thanks, I have corolla, so if road condition does not allow from Bagh to Doa Khan then i have to take long rout i.e Bagh to Muzaffarabad via kohala, or all the way back to rwalakot islamabad and muzaffarabad, (I am confused)

Secondly what i can do is
Muzaffarabad - Karen (stay) - Kel (stay)
Kel - Doarian (stay) - Muzaffarabad

In this way I can enjoy three places stay

it does have AJK govenment guest houses on the lake.
You book them if you have a good safarish:D
alternatively you may choose to stay in private guest rooms that are abt 5 minutes aeay from lake
