for online deals in other city, send someone u know from that city to personally check the stuff

What if your friend sold him the car saying it is 100% original and did not have any accident. He didn't get it checked and is now selling it knowing it is original and company maintained because he is one innocent guy and trusted your cousin... Did not get the car transferred and is still on first owner's name... Just a thought. :S

my friend sold this car in early 2012, he was actually the first owner
at that time the car was driven around 80,000 km and front bumper, fenders, headlights, grill and bonnet had been replaced due to an accident
now look at the description the new buyer has given, height of immorality!!
if anyone of you or your surroundings is going to see this car, DO NOT BUY IT, but take out a minute or two to insult him at least.

neither me nor my friends are people who sell junk claiming it to be original
car is indeed company maintained and the front parts were replaced from Toyota 3S dealership

So looks like he didn't lie. Just used conventional jargons to market his product. When the parts are replaced from Toyota Dealership, they are original and that's what he mentioned.

When your cousin sold the vehicle, it was a company maintained vehicle and now it's a junk when he is selling it. Its not your responsibility anymore and the interested people should get the car checked on their own from the dealerships or their mechanics like the seller did. If he really have tempered the meter, that's wrong. Again, it's on the buyer to verify everything before investing. If anyone doesn't, the seller is not a fraudia, the buyer is a fool.

I think you are missing point on car mileage too. Original mileage was mentioned to be around 80000 kms. And now the mileage is 22000...

theres no way of checking if meter has been reversed.. and you are encouraging sellers to lie. you cannot justify what the seller is doing..
not everyone is an expert. not everyone has spent his life looking at paint jobs of cars.. heck a normal guy cant even differ between a bad paint job.. not to mention a very clean one.
a casual buyer just sees interior of car.. if its clean.. or any dents or scratches.. then he takes a small test drive.. makes the deal and takes the car...
and to top that har kisi ka "dost chacha mama bhatija" nai hota to help them buy a car..
is type ke log maray jatay hain because ap jaise log are being too hard on them..

how about you see the thread i created.. the guy who was selling knew all denters of islamabad.. i took random guys to get the car checked.. he knew them.. and the mechanics lied to me..
i wasnt convinced somehow so i asked my old denter to check it.. when i took the car to my denter.. wo usay bhi janta tha.. and usne mere denter ko kaha il give u 10k.. deal kara do in se.. allah usay khush rakhe the denter told be about this story..
warna mai car lai chuka tha.. so its not a perfect little world.. people are here to just rob your money in any way possible

Thats so true..i once took a denter to itwar bazar and although he looked honest, the way he knew most of the car owners, i felt that something is fishy, so i didnt go for a deal:(
