there are two methods, one is simple like mine, and other is more complicate but better overall integrated like member spano set out in one of his threads by making his own circuit etc but he didn't follow though on that,

in my i just connected the front camera installed in logo using rcas to the AV input in the headunit, i can then engage the camera using shortcut on home screen or if you have steering controls using source button quickly, the front camera works at any speed and when you put the car in reverse the back camera automatically comes on. its been working well, i have front camera installed in two more of my other cars and i find it usefull in parking, you dont have to install it in monogram you can mount in on the lower grill in the bumper, i have do so in my other car and i find it more usefull there as you can estimate footpath height from that position and in dense foggy weather its easier to see road markings with foglights turned on using the camera mounted lower in the bumper.

its a very simple DIY any anybody can do it you just need a av input in any headunit you got and a front camera of course, either this monogram shape one or a round one from a harrier or prado, you can find them in market.

Is the av input jack on the rear side of the unit or any front port/aux can be used as AV port?

Rizwan bhai, is it possible to remove the reverse camera of the Grande and replace it with a thrid party camera? i mean will it be a simple plug and play operation or you think the Grande entertainment unit will not accept a third party camera. The new camera im referring to can be viewed by following this link,

Sure, it can be replaced. I also replaced mine as original is not very good in low light.

The poor performance in low light is exactly the reason why i want to change it. Even my 2015 Honda City Aspire has a much better rear camera than the Grande.

Bro could you also let me know which camera you bought instead and for how much? Also a quick word on how you installed it? Would highly appreciate it.

I have installed front camera in my grande , it does not work with steering source button as it does not have the AV option , can only access through av icon which is on her home screen short cut. If u can access through the steering please share it.

^^what about the wiring stuff. Is it easy or wires are cut?

Wiring is plug and play. Just have to disengage one wire and earth it , that wire disables the function of navigation screen ,/ camera while the car is moving because if u do not disengage the camera will work only while the car is static and hand brake applied.
