I am planning a trip to Hunza in August and wanted to ask a couple of questions.

1. Is there any attraction for young kids of age under 8 years in Hunza and surroundings?
2. Can you describe your trip to Naltar? From where you took Jeep and its cost. Also where did you park your car and how much time it took for round trip? I want to plan that but not aware of how I can do it and if it is possible in day when I am staying in Hunza.
3. How much Jeep charged you from Nomal to Naltar for a round trip?

Sorry to late reply. I'll go from Karachi, most probably to hire a Hiace or may be my Margalla (condition to availability of any driver, as I'm not have temperament for long drive). In this blog I notice two routes plz suggest which one will be smooth and not hefty traffic.

sir - how was your experience to stay in Kalar Kahar ? Is it good place of overnight stop with family ? can you share some pictures of Kalar Kahar along with hotel information ?

kalar kahar is a normal place. Only lake available. I have just stayed there for rest and hotel is very good.

I visited Northern Areas for the first time and my age is 32 years. If i get chance to visit again Northern Areas i will prefer Hunza & Gilgit (Naltar Lake) because it is less crowded and not much disturbed natural beauty. Swat has several visiting spots so its also a good choise. Naran and kaghan are busy places because most of the people pay visit to this valley. Road from Behrain to Kalam is in extremely bad condition. At some of places you may encounter language barrier but over all there is "NO" cons of any area. Most of the people are hospitable and worm welcoming.
