If you need one time solution to your problem then i would suggest you Mini H1 Bixenon projector retrofit. It will be like daytime in night after installation and i am sure you will be more than happy. Glare free and onetime investment in lighting.

Hi, I have the same civic and interested in getting HIDs. Can you post the picture of yr headlight too. Also want to know about the housing, is it stock reflector or did you change it as well. If not changed then would it not cause glare and secondly what about the heat being produced by these. Cause I think stock bulbs would produce much less heat.

The main problem is the wiring. These chinese fogs are of average quality but the wiring that comes with them are even worst. They are so thin that even powering a single bulb will put a lot of load on the wiring causing it to heat the weak points. The long length of wiring also puts more load. The relay used in these wiring are also of worst quality. They often shorts. Next culprit maybe because of a low amp rating fuse. It should be minimum of 20 amps.
I always throw these wiring away and make my custom heavy duty relay harness for my installs and insures a peace of mind using a thicker gauge wiring and connectors followed by a Oem denso relay. This offers as a cheap insurance for your car and also proper funtioning of the fog lights. Let me know if you need more help.

Sure, strange though. Just checked and only 1 message in inbox. Some bug with pakwheels ? Even i deleted that one message too. Just realized that you might have opened the existing head lights to fit the new projectors :(. Dont really want that. Maybe there are already available HIDs fitted in after market housing and that too of good quality.

Use 12 gauge wire. You will be in safe hands then. Do note the complete harness should contain 12 gauge wire and the button wires can be left as it is as they only trigger the relay. It will be a little thick but thats the recommended gauge for a harness. Also use a heavy duty fuse holder like of a CNG kit and use a 20 amp fuse. Denso relay are not available new i think but the only way i get them is from used parts market. They work fine. Just get the one with oem grip and clean the terminals of the relay with sandpaper before installing. Attached pic of relay it should be like this. Let me know

Got Phillips Crystal vision installed in my ride , results are good , white light with no glare at all ....
no H.I.D balast problems , no warmup time ..
luckily I got in contact with direct importer . got H4 pair of crystal vision just for 3.5k Plus led parking bulbs are included in the box ( which the so called middle man call "complimentry")

There are 2 main companies which manufacture these lights one is Casp which is Chinese made after market and the other is Koito which are OEM, I'd like to know the price difference between both of these companies and is there any visibility differences between both of them as well as any quality differences. Secondly I would like to ask from where can I buy them in Lahore. Kindly please help me out!

Casp is nowhere near koito bro. Tons of difference btw both. Koito is the designer and manufacturer of those OEM LED headlights. Whereas casp is chinese which makes replica and the quality is not good. I would suggest you to go for OEM Koito LED headlights along with OEM Koito LED driver. But Koito will be expensive for sure. Another alternate is to get Mini H1 Bixenon projectors and retrofit them they will solve all your visibility issues aswell they are Bixenon means that you will have 4 high beams and that will be better than koito led lights as they are only low beam. If you go with mini h1 route it will be much cheaper for you.

Phillips Crystal vision are halogen bulbs like stock ones. only difference is the wattage. There is wiring issue with HONDA CITY 2013 by using 100/90 watt (OEM is 60/55).Can you please specify car model and wattage of your ones. 3.5 k looks too much because PARKING LED costs 200-300 rupee in the market and good quality halogens 100/90 WATT (SO CALLED GERMAN) are around 1500 rupee. These blue ones have less light than the normal bulbs of the same wattage.

Philips extreme vision has the same wattage as the stock bulbs. There is not much difference the light of "stock" and "Philips extreme vision". I personally compare the light of both types. However "Philips extreme vision" has white light which is perfect mach if someone wants to use LEDs in parking slots. I have plan to use "HID projectors" but not in head light may be in fogs or somewhere else. If someone has info on this type of addition kindly share (with pics if possible please).

Not much activity on this forum as of lately I have a 2012 Corolla Altis SR and its lights are shot, the range has been reduced to about 20ft max (I guess) and it has faded, especially the 9006 low beams one. What options can be exercised in this case. HID's are not an option and I want to stick with OEM spec bulbs. Threads here suggest Phillips bulbs so I want to know how much of a difference would be there in terms of quality compared to OEM spec bulbs. Market here in Abbottabad is littered with cheap knockoffs so what would the best course of action be ? Suggestions please
