Well, you started this. Oil and water will never mix, living in US has never changed that, I have been personaly screwed by more Indians than I care to remember, I came here with the same idea that things have changed, they have not. Also one thing that you should know about me, I want to have nothing to do with India or Indians, regardless of there religon. I live 40 miles from google headquarters, one of my biggest customer works B2B marketing , you have no basis to claim that there is anymore Indian money financing this site than US, Chinese or Japanese. Indian based enterprises have nothing to do with me nor they effect me unless and God forbid I have to call my credit card customer service, also since that is my credit card used for my business that I pay for, it may also be concluded that myself and hundreds of other Pakistani's are financing your " Indian " enterprise. May be you should lay off the roses ( as we both know they have no smell here ) and try some chai or coffee. There is however a fundamental difference between you and I which may shed some light on the greater difference between the two nations, I know who I am, I know what my likes and dislikes are, I dont go on Indian forums and impose myself. Unlike you who I have continualy seen comparing Pakistani products/ market with India , while you claim to be American. Man up and say I am proud to be Indian and I like to showoff what my people have done. Do not accuse me of hatered while you parade around carrying the banner of multiculturalism while silently pursuing your agenda.
Anyone with half a brain can tell that you post here to show how well India is doing. And, you know what? you very well should be proud of your people. Point being that what you claim and what you do are seemingly and evidently two different things.
As for insular society may be you should wake up to reality, try craigslist and see what people really think of you, this rather fraudulent notion of a "melting pot" or your claims of global age are do not withstand the truth.
Indians and Pakistani's are not even considered Asian by " Asians" here. I know for some one who hides behind notions of " one world" it could be difficult to pick a side. In my case, I know what side I am on.
