which delivers LOWS , Upper bass and highs
3 notes in 1 track , BME CLICK - LILJON ! best for SPL

each judges would be given papers having ,
LOW , UPPERBASS , HIGH written on it
and they have to give point out of 10
with respect to knowing of tunning frequency of the box
like
BME CLICK - 3 notes
Low - 6 / 10
Upper bass - 9 /10
High - 7/ 10

1st judge : 6+9+7 = 22 / 30
2nd judge : 6+8+9 = 23/ 30
etc
lets suppose 30max points x 7 judges
and a guy got 185 points out of 210 points etc , for 8 judge 240 , for 9 judge 270 etc
185/210 x 100 = % percentage likings

marks should also be given for clean install and rattle proofing. btw Kevin, what about importing a DB meter for the competition?

i think classes should be defined as bands of 250 watts i.e.

Class A: 250 watts rms or less
Class b: 500 watts rms
Class c: 750 watts and so on

at the time of registration, each competitor must be given a sheet in which he has to fill in details of his system and the total wattage should be calculated. higher classes of spl level should be tested on test frequencies to see how they play a note of 25 hz, 35hz, 45hz and so on. only then u can judge properly between different systems.

also SQ, SPL and SQL judges should be separate and should be selected depending on the system they have in their car. SPL judges should not be made to judge SQ systems for obvious reasons. Also you should look to invest into this...

Very nice suggestions madhouse12. As for the TL, yes it will be a big leap in car audio in pakistan but as you know its really expensive n its not just the cost but renewal fee too that makes it even more expensive.
But every aspect will be considered.

Sir I have a suggestion, why do not you categorize each equipment or system category.

For example: Best Multi Element, SUB, Component, HU, DVD etc and best system overall for 10K, 25K, 50K, 100K RS (priced or valued for new) for each SQ/SQL/SPL category.

The power rating suggestions are confusing me that the competition is only for the SUB owners.

There should also be a system from Judges as a benchmark for scoring points.

Actually power ratings are the simplest catagory we can work on for now. But yes we are working on it so that no one is left behind. As for the simple setups without a sub, there willl be a catagory to compete in

but problem we will have is time.... the more cat. we make, the more time it will take.
also there so many many sorts of brands tht its impossible to go according to amp rms rating... the easiest way to cut them is by woofer rms...

now there is a big debate tht how will a single pioneer be able to compete against a single type r ..............

mayb we will design the marking sheet with "equipment" and "value for money"
for example
for type r , the equipment rating will go up but if its not playing up to the mark, the value of money will go down.........
likeiwse, if 308 equipment will go down but value for money will go up.....
wat say guys? makes any sense?

@Madhouse12. It's a good idea but it'll be a headache to organize according to these classes and terms.

after the success of the mega g2g (3rd) , some flaws or problems have been brought to notice...
1) not all systems were heard.
2) not all audio fans were there (khi has many many more to offer)
3) the ppl with single woofer or small setup did not even come upfront just because they felt tiny infront of the bigger spl systems...
4) was not very well organized
5) just a few basic members ruled the whole show...

therefore, now we (few members) as a team plan to keep a Mega event which will have little for everyone...

this time we will compete according to class.... example
400 watt class , 1000 watt class , 2000 watt class etc.
awards will be given to winners of tht specfic class...

moreover, we members (judges) are NOT going to compete instead just give demo and suggestions to members.... and did i say we are NOT going to compete...

so if u guys like the idea give me a hi 5 and throw in ur comments....

secondly its a competition of different system. this is not a build off where everyone is given the same system and the one with best output wins. so ofcourse 308 will have to go head to head against Type r and so on. or you can have a maker's competition which will be in a sense good as well. single 308 against single 308, type r 12" against type r 12" etc. all the other bits and bobs can be then judged in a general category.

i think woofer against woofer (same model) will be the best choice for now as most ppl here have same woofers in their cars. its either 308 or 307 or 3012 or type r... this way it will be equal competition and the one who has best tuned his system will win. once a particular woofer's champ is decided, the champs will have a choice to go head to head against another woofer champ. 307 vs 308... 308 vs type r, 2 308 12" vs 1 type r15" and so on...
