yaar in SPL , its the game of Loudness
so no matter untuned or tuned box you use
the higher DB you score definitely you will win
untuned box , since we dont know whats the tunning frequency of box
we can judge it can hit loud or sharp at peak , or flat with all notes response
this is why i am suggesting play 3 notes some
in which all can cover up LOW , Upper bass and High
BME CLick , Throw it up , etc are good for having 3 notes track
Meet me before GTG happens i will let you know , how i am going to judge with software
Property of Low tuned Box
tuned at 35hz
120Db @ 35hz , 124db @ 40hz , 122db @ 45hz
tuned at 37hz
117db @ 35hz , 126 db @ 40hz , 123 db @ 45hz
tuned at 40hz
112 db @ 35hz , 124 db @ 40hz , 129 db @ 45hz , 124 db @ 50hz
so you can see
low tuned have flat response , it have good db @ 35hz ,
rather then tuned at 40hz
there will be 3 notes
the lower and Higher tuned boxes
lower will give similar dbs
Higher tuned will give best on highs , worst lows
in this way higher when played to lows bass will be beated by LOW TUNED box
when playing highs on low tuned box , the SPl wont be very much @ high notes , all balanced
