A manual Cultus with 1.4 million price tag. Pak Suzuki has placed this car above Swift.
Look at their management in live event of this Cultus launch. Incompetent and filled with greed.

The VXR version (but equipped with driver's airbag, EBD, ABS) is for Rs 10,95,000 (Baht 359,000) in Thailand. In Pakistan, the same version (minus the accessories I mentioned above) is 3 lakhs more. This is totally unjustified! PS knows people will still buy so they are sticking to a higher price. Bad for us consumers.

You are willing to spend 12 lakh on a Suzuki. Look at prices of Marutis in the neighborhood.

The number of features Maruti has for INR 6 lakh will blow your mind. Even after conversion, its 9 lakh Pakistani rupees.

The fact is your government, which is a group of thieves is looting you. Since they are looting you, these foreign companies also dont mind looting you.

And knowing from the trend Pakistani consumer has set, if I m Suzuki or Toyota, I would not mind making money selling to cheap and obsolete stuff at a high price. All companies are doing this. Corolla in their lower end model has obsolete engine and manual windows at Rs 16lakh. Suzuki is selling its second generation Swift as new in Pakistan, discontinued around the globe many years ago with the engine it designed in early 2000s.

So if Pakistani consumer does not change and is not willing to spend their money wisely, this trend will not change.

Checked the car and totally disaapointed to see such a shitty price for such a low quality car.On durability side, even the gauge of the sheet being used for the geysers would be much more durable than being used for the production of this car.The inside door panels were loosely fit and were moving like anything.Shape was always a biggest turn off for the suzuki cars.After seeing this,the old cultus is now realised to be a very reasonable option.Simply a big no for such a tag.

in uk vxl equivalent (zs3) list price in pakistan rupees is about 1.2 million including all taxes and first year road or token tax. you can get discount of more then 10% form suzuki dealer easily on list price.

Come on guys! stop cursing poor consumers who usually lack skills to import cars, and mostly lured by brand new virginity with competitive price in total (not talking in terms of value for money) . Usually companies also offer cultus as an official vehicle for their employees, being the locally manufactured and easy to maintain. Plus there is nothing wrong in doing the same, majority of people doing, it minimizes the risk. The real culprit here is GOVT which kept on sucking our blood since long........

sir the car you have illustrated is actually a higher spec model then vxl as it reads "curtain airbags " that means this thing has at least 4 airbags but since lower spec model has side air bags this must aso have them so we are looking at probably 2 front air bags 1 or two side airbag(s) and a pair of curtain airbags which are installed at the pillars, i know that because we had a british domestic market grey import prius second gen it's still in the family. so there are around six airbags! better then vxl

Visited Suzuki Islamabad Motors I-9 to have a test drive of this new Cultus VXL.
Built quality of the car is not good. You have to push the doors with quite a force to close them properly, otherwise they will remain open. The engine was noisy and not smooth. The Suzuki guy said the noise is because the car is new. It will go away with the passage of time. LOL
Rear leg space is just okay. Not as good as the old Cultus.
Gear position is very good. I enjoyed shifting the gears as clutch is also very light. The Suzuki guy was telling that the clutch is hydraulic. A/C is also good. The price tag is not justified.

Why would any one buy this when they can get a Vitz or even a Swift in the similar price range. Crazy pricing by Pak Suzuki.

Not even an automatic transmission would have justified such high price.

The engine noise will go away or you will get used to it

you are right. even the cheaper version sz1, costing 1.0 million rupees come with 6 air bags and abs.

Are you serious ? 4000-5000 per month , old cultus which was a big hit and cheaper never sold more than 1600-1700 per month. Only corolla and mehran sells in 3000-4000 range/month and this car has the potential to sell 500-600 initially and within one year it can go maximum to 1500/month.

How can you market your new 1000 CC expensive than your established 1300 CC brand? Strategically wrong; they will revise the prices, as they have done it with WagonR.

FAW V2 is better choice than buying this crap after saving 20% of your investment you will end up with better looking bigger car.
