Even VXR is highly priced, 12.5 lacs for what new features ? should be max 12 lacs i.e.. 1 lac more than WagonR vxl not more than that!... I anticipate 50k price drop in VXR and 100k in VXL cultus after 2-3 months.. Whoever thinking of buying it wait for couple of months.. if it sell around 500 and less units a month than price will be reduced!
saw white VXR in bahria lahore.......price is too much and its same as wagon r VXL except shape but still its coming on the road rather quickly than wagon R.
Yes even the VXR is a little over priced but still to share about the new features: Power Steering, Power windows, Central locking are not bad as a standard even in VXR. Which I think are new features for a Cultus base model.

There is no comparison between the two.
Old Cultus had 4 wheels, ancient g10b engine and a steering wheel.New Cultus has all the features (excluding few) that makes it a complete package. Only its price is damn too high.
Those who will spend 14 lac on this car better consider swift or new model vitz
with this price yes vitz is better option and way better than cultus.

Agree, I think for features it is definitely the step forward from previous version but as always pak suzuki priced it ridiculously... They all know market situation, JDMs and even Swift is in same price category with more overall benefit/features.
With this pricing, they just want to increase the sales of Swift and even City and XLI. So everyone in 'Big 3' is happy with this Cultus pricing. Don't care about the people who have to pay a lot more to get this car which is available cheaply in other countries having higher average disposable income than us.
If people remember, Swift was renamed to Khyber in Pakistan and Cultus was 1992 model of Swift. Then PS never changed the model and later on launched Swift again as a different vehicle. And now Celerio is called Cultus in Pakistan. Actually its a WagonR category car and PS has gone crazy with its pricing.
Went to I-9 Suzuki motors today and a cultus was being driven out of the driveway. A man in the showroom told that it is the first one sold. A salesman also told that there is going to be a 50k own on Mehran VXR too as it is in popular 'demand'
Makes a lot of sense. At this price, people have other options. It was supposed to be an affordable car.
Features are definitely more in new cultus, but when it comes to space, old cultus was the most spacious one in the available 1000CC hatch back options
