hello. My next oil change is due. Im thinking of getting the honda 0w20 this time. Car is 8k driven. I checked the manual and 0w20 is recommended too. Been using 0w20 in my jdms.
Has anyone poured it in their brv? Any reviews?

No its not. They just sell repacked horrible engine oil of total.

they are recommending Honda oil, as I have recently purchased Honda for the 1st time, previously I owned Toyota, daihatsu, Nissan suzuki, it's BRV, 600km driven, it means I should go for another brand ?
and please if you can tell me about the suspension of Honda brv, weather it is stronger than Toyota Corolla or not ?

Well buddy you asked for quality of oil.

I told you the engine oil being sold by toyota and honda in pakistan is made by total and only repacked by honda. Its a low quality engine oil regardless of its oil grade.

You can get liqui moly, havoline even shell engine oil is better.

Well to me BRV is just another bad car by honda after hinda city. It has super hard uncomfortablr suspension iced by super hard horrible stiff seats.

I always hated city as its the most ugly and uncomfotable car in the world( i do own city aspire 1.5 prosmatec) but after seeing BRV and driving it i hate honda overall in pakistan. Honda suspension does not last more than 1 lakh km and you need to work done. I live in islamabad and used city for 4 years and its suspension started making noise after 90,000 km.

After taking test drive of brv i went to book altis 1.6 in december and got delivery of altis 1.6 in july. Absolutely love it and ite super comfortable how a car should be.
Brv is just a utilitly mini van being considered as offroader buy our innocent pakis.

Whoever buys a city and specially brv realise he has made a mistake lol

Reality is - we dont have options available in Pakistan in NEW segment.

1.3 ltrs - corolla - city - swift - V2 , thats it.

so as politics - Lion and Teer. Unfortunately - Monopoly

Honda 5w30 oil is repacked Total Quartz 9000. Its a very good oil.

Run the Honda oil for 5-6k kms and change it. Im running one for years. Getting excellent mileage figure and smooth engine. Doesnt burn or looses viscosity even after 8000kms of use. Tried and tested.

Liquimoli etc are waste of money due to their price. Also this local hathora mechanic logic that only shell and havoline are good oils doesnt exist now.

It is really a blessing and i am more than satisfied.

People while comparing must see the price tag and the associated features provided in the car.

In the last, every one has its own mindset and decision should be taken by the individual based on specific requirements.

I use my Toyota Corolla in regular duties, BRV is just for trips outside the city as my family members are 6, it is the reason I forcefully drove BRV 600 km approximately in 3 months.
and due to my age, now I drive with utmost care...

The new Corollas are a piece of crap, imo. My boss has it (GLI 2017). The car is not at all worth the price.
Cheap looking interior and bad acceleration. I found Nissan Days and Mira (Uber/Careem experience) more comfy than the new Gli.

So true. A month ago a bought another JDM 2015 Alto and its seats are way more comfortable and better handling and i am loving it
