Whats is the fuel mileage of manual BR-V?Need honest figures from owners please as I'm looking to buy one.
I purchased my Honda Brv from a relative who bought the car brand new back in November 2018, but only drove it for 5000km in over 1 year. The car has never been serviced (not even oil change). My question is that except for oil change, what else should I get checked? The car is no longer under warranty and I'm scared of huge service center bills. I'm pretty new to cars stuff and don't know alot about them. Car runs smoothly but breaks make weird noises when applied on very low speeds (creeping).
Don't worry just change engine oil & oil filter with genuine and change it soon like 3000km, after that change oil and filter at 5000km regularly.no need to chk any thing as 5000km is too low mileage as for brake noises are cause by rusted disc, when it will use regularly thn noise will reduce & thn gone.If you feel still brake noise thn just brake service from good mechanic or from honda.
Thank you. Much appreciated.
Depends on what type of noise you hear. Possibly the bushing may be damaged. Get it checked from Honda.
Honda BRV-S rpm goes up while turning off ignition and little jerk is feel, and this happens on hot engine after driving when ac is off. With AC this problem not occur.RPM is 800 but while I turn off ignition it first goes to 1000 and than turn off with some jerk.
Only driven 3100 KM.
Unplug negative battery terminal for 20min then plug again, computer will reset & check.
Can any add me in BRV whatapp group 03315995665
Proud owner of BRV S varient. One of the best Family vehicle available In Pakistan. Amazing fuel economy if driven in D modeLots of power on motorway achieved from S or sports mode ( obviously not as much as CIVIC or even Grande but decent enough to enjoy the trip). Newer 1300 cars on Kallar Kahar couldnt keep up on ascent.A 7 seater MPV with lots of space, Majority MPVs from other decent brands are 5 seaterAC is chillingBuild for heavy duty with lots of ground clearance
What fuel average you are getting?
Little addition in my B-RV, sun glasses holder
I want to buy a new BRV, as my family car, I want to know couple of things:-- What is the fuel efficiency in city with AC both (Manual and Automatic)?-- Is the drive of manual BRV is good or not? What is the need of gear changes in city?
The new 2020 BRV is much appealing for Honda lovers in current situation. There are no news about CITY new model. The only concern for me is smaller and uncomfortable seats of BRV. Did any one here think of converting it to five seater with more legroom. And what about possibilities of changing front seats with honda city seats?
True, the seats are not comfortable and quite thin, but the seats in new BR-V are bit better, they are more cushioned (this is what I feel) and the middle seat belt in the second row is moved in the roof along with a head rest.
Plz where you get this?
experienced a strange issue with my brv...it was standing in the garage for 14 or 15 days..i went and tried to start it but the battery was completely dead not even a single light was turning on i had to open the door with the key.took out battery charged it completely and attached it back...i did parasitic battery drain test and i saw that at completely idle car was consuming between 140ma-240ma which is too much.car shouldn't be consuming this much amperes in idle condition...so now i need a usermanual or service manual to see where is the fuse box located so i can manually check the source which is consuming this much current by removing fuses one by one.i called honda service center and when i told them that car wasn't used for 15 days he said then this might be normal which is not for sure...i tested my suzuki baleno and it was consuming only 20ma at full idle condition.so please any 1 here having knowledge of how to use multimeter and do a parasitic battery drain test.kindly ell how much amps your car is consuming at idle state when every thing is turned off completely.plus i need a user manual a detailed one if any body has link kindly share
It depends on the electrical components installed and age of the battery. If your battery is original which comes with the car and one year old it cannot sustain 15 days. If you put navigation on sleep instead of turning it off it can drain even a new battery. Never checked the parasitic drain but my original battery lasts only one year. Shifted to 50 amps AGS but its lasts only two years. Now since one year on DAEWOO DL55. working fine uptil now.
thanks for the input....nav is commpletely off so i am sure it won't be consuming any battery...i bought this car on 23rd may 2019 so not even a year has passed...yes i don't recall exactly but ah rating of the company installed AGS battery was very less when cmpared with daewoo(maintenance free) battery installed on my baleno....i still am concern about the parasitic battery drain what is causing it?i have installed after market drls, fog lamps, front camera and high beam leds...can they be the source of this drain?daewoo(maintenance free) used to give 2 years warranty but they also switched now to 1 year so i am not planning on buying it despite of the face the first one i bought which had 2 years warranty worked for 3 years and that really was surprising but i think quality is not the same now that's why they switched to one year warranty.side note:-saw something weird first i got very worried then read the user manual.if your cars hood is not closed completely your lock/unlock flash lights won't work and security system will also not be activated....
What? the sun glass holder? from Ali Express
Do you have tracker installed?
