I cannot say it is good for you because every body has its own likes and dislikes. But in your situation for 4 adults and 3 kids there are only two options in the new car market. One is BRV and second is AVANZA. Keeping in view economy (Fuel and price) BRV is better option. You cannot compare a CAR with a cross over. CAR is made for comfort with is absent in all HONDA vehicles. My CITY has the same hard suspension and only accommodate five persons on maximum. On the other hand corss-overs are safer due to higher position of passengers and strong frame. There is less glare of upcoming traffic due to higher position of driver. But you cannot drive it at high speeds due to design concept. So set your priorities first because every thing is not available in single bundle.

i am getting roughly 9 under a mix of heavy and light traffic .. pls keep in mind the trip metre on the brv is at least 5-6% inaccurate ... ie, if its showing you 10 km/l then when you actually go for the petrol fill up you will notice you filled at least 10.5
yeah seats are very hard and uncomfortable for longer journeys ...

Just come to know from HONDA website that navigation is optional in BRV-S model. As I remember that it was included in the package. Can anybody explain this thing.

You cannot expect a sedans comfort from a cross over. However higher end SUVs can be compared with corolla. If you have budget think about Fortuner or Suzuki Vitara. If you are inclined towards JDM Toyota Rush is a good option in the price of BRV.
