All new honda civic 2009

Honda always gives the Civic a facelift in the 3rd year of the model cycle (the all-new shape was globally launched in '06).

As you can see, the front end styling has become quite sporty, the new front bumper reminds me of the current Civic Type-R. I like the sporty black mesh inserts in the front grille. Smoked out headlamps are another sporty touch. The new oval driving lamps are smaller and look more attractive surrounded by the sporty black mesh. Overall the front end gets some much needed length that was lacking before. The rear end gets new LED lamps and a trunk-lid spoiler. Some new wheel styles are offered too. Interior seems to be pretty much unchanged.

We should expect Honda Atlas to release it in Pakistan by January '09, alongside the all-new '09 Honda City. This facelift also proves that there will be an all-new Honda Civic in 2011.

Good to see you posted the pics before anyone else. Essentially this is not an "all new" Civic so I suggest that you should re-word the topic as "2009 Honda Civic Facelifted/Restyled".

that is the civic hybrid and it is still like this,i don't see any new civic's just plain old hybrids

cruisetronic is not some transmission,it is the cruise control given by corolla(the semi auto of corolla is called shift tronic)

and this steering is pretty old civic comes in lot of different varients

This is the current hybrid version of the honda civic.Civics have many different variants globally, like in the US, the steering has 2 spokes. It has been there since 2006.

THIS IS NOT THE 2009 MODEL OF THE HONDA CIVIC.

This is the face lifted JDM shape for sure. Although its shown in LHD its probably for some other country.

However the differences are obvious:

1. Headlights have been re-worked, these are darker
2. New rims (and I'm not referring to the hybrid rims)
3. New bumper
4. New fog lights
5. New grill and mesh layout

So yes it is a facelifted model that we will probably see around January.

Although I agree with the saying: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" but these changes are so minor that if you blink, you'll miss them. Good news for the owners of the pre-facelift models though.

^ Actually thats true but the bumper is pretty obvious, you'd notice it in an instant if the two are side-by-side.

However the good news is also that since the fenders haven't been redesigned or extended (like they did with the 7th generation MMC). All of this is a bolt-on fit for the earlier models.
