Altis 1.8 chocked catalytic converter

I was facing a gear shifting problem after 4000 rpm in my toyota corolla altis 1.8 cruisetronic 2009 model
Went to different mechanics most of them diagnosed gear box problem so we changed the gear box and the problem was still there (video attached)

So we checked all the sensors including throttle paddle sensor and throttle body everything was ok and the problem was still unsolved
So finally it was decided to lets open catalytic converter and see its condition so today we opened it and found it was almost chocked there we go so i went Malik sb (mechanic & catalytic converter specialist) at i a traders auto workshop walton road lahore
He is quite expert in cleaning catalytic converter without breaking or damaging the pores he took 2 hrs to completely clean it and when i went on a test drive o boy car has totally changed i mean there was a wheelspin
When i accelerated it
The problem of gear shifting vanished and the car was back to its perfect position thank God !!!

I had 1.8 Cruisetronic SR, in winters I got 12.3 in Lhr mostly Thokar Niaz Baig to Garden Town.
