well congrats for your new buy , but i dont understand that why oems always underestimate customer's expectations regarding bells and whistles in top of the line model.
I mean that in this 20 lacs plus corolla why they have put only 14500 Rs worth of deck which is looking completely alien in the dashboard, instead they could have installed original in dash dvd navigation (like in jdm axio) and absorb the price impact (10 to 12 k max) with steering cotrols.

And pakistan is the only country where 21 lacs corolla and civic lack a very basic feature called climate control air condition.

If toyota introduce these 2 or 3 features alongwith leather interior then no body will import a corolla axio of 2007 model used for 2.1 million plus.

even i was thinking the same why they came up with this same old altis deck which came in 2008 n still coming in new altis :S....anyhow is there any option available like in dash dvd with navi n touch screen for altis from toyota indus?

Thanks dear.... 24 hrs not passed when i got car in my hand.... only 20 km drive but i feel that its far better technology then Civic. Although Civic is very good car but EPS and dual VVTI really rocks... (H)

I really wonder how companies like Toyota are making use of our mentality by displaying the following information on car boot. Just stop for a moment and think

about the car boot badges.. listed below

Toyota (toyota badge) corolla ALTIS
CRUISETRONIC 1.6 SR

Now the same model overseas got the following information on back of its lid.

Toyota (toyota badge) corolla ULTIMA

no mentioning of cruistronic, no mentioning of enging power and sr or gl or el mentioned.

Althought the car has cruisecontrol, leather seats, reverse parking sensor. dual climate control, electronic brake force distribution, srs(6 airbags) , abs. and also got saftey bars in all doors which is a steel rod inside the door to prevent injury. 1.8 engine
Price tag is 2200000 Pak RS.. (roughly).

I imagine we pay for the same car almost 18 + lake in pakistan but with minimal features and toyota wants to make us happy with the cruisetronic badge.

• Video of Rain Sensing Wipers (when it will be raining)
• Video/Pictures of Retractable Mirrors / its button especially, is this same that are available in open market and people install into GLIs etc?
• The famous "ECU Cover" is required in this new ZR engine? The ECU picture in engine bay for reference
