Altis Rims on Xli Corolla 2009

I bought these Taiwan brand Rims from Faisal Town (Not sure about the shop name now) And paid 28 k. They are good enough.

Yeah, you are right. Plan is to do as you suggested but these rims look good with side skirts. I guess the reason being that we are kind of use to seeing them with Altis. I intend to match the mud flappers of Xli along with door handles and side mirrors and see how this will look. And i will post pictures to get all of your comments as well. I am not THAT proud of choosing an XLI, wish I would have spent a little more and gotten a GLI. The hassle of putting central locking and power windows is too much. I hated when they cranked open half of my brand new car's interior to put it central locking LOL I still have to get the power windows done.

^ agree.though none of our local manufactured cars are worth their price,in comparison i think adding 120k getting ABS+POWER WINDOWS+STOP LAMP+COLOUR OPTIONS which amounts to 100k + worth of accessories, is money well spent on a GLI

I think choosing GLI in white or black is kind of foolish. I mean if one is paying all that extra dough, at least go for a metallic color. That's the only sign of car being the original CLI.

I went to Toyota Ravi today and they quoted me price of original Altis rims RS 35,000 Thai brand.

On Malaysian Rims and Original Rims are identical in color and shape. Whereas Chinese are slightly off in color and the grooves on the spokes is more vibrant.

In my opinion one should get Rims from Toyota Company. 35 k

I am sending my car tomorrow for the matching paint job + Side skirts. Toyota Ravi gave me the following package.

1. Side Skirts 6500/-
2. Baked Paining in booth of Side skirts + Side Mirrors + Door Handles + Mud flappers 8000/-

I thin it's not bad at all. At least it would be proper paint and installation. Javed Auto (Pepsi Cola) quoted me 13000 only for paint job. I know he is the best, I use to get my bikes painted when i was partner in MUST BIKES (Ancient History) LOL

yar 35k rims at toyota motors is expensive. those are available for 25k in open market.

side skirts and handles etc are not bake painted. only metal surfaces are bake painted. side skirts/handles etc are spray painted as far as i know

Not until end of 2011; they should better upgrade to justify the price tag of 1479K for 1.3L Gli.

na karein kuch bhee, atleast pesse to kam karein, its teen dabba for 1480,000, 40k registration, aproxx 60,000 Insurance (@4% per annum)

Over all it comes up 1.6 Million for just a basic car with power windows.

Can you precisely tell me how long it took to get the side skirts, flappers and door handles painted, dried, and installed? Did you have to leave them over night?
