VVT & CVT are two different things. VVT= Variable valve timing and CVT= Continuously variable transmission
Your engine is basically not the one that is found in a swift, its the one that is in a Jimny's bonnet, Not to worry about that because its actually a bit more powerful although you'd have to compromise on fuel consumption.
Jimny's fuel consumption is higher because of shorter gear ratios compared to swift or liana that had M13A under the hood....mate M13A with these cars gear box and you are good to go...besides pakistan market this engine was used in many Suzukis other than Jimny...infact VVT could provide bit more milage compared to conventional M13A...i think i read somewhere in this thread that OP got this engine from half cut Swift...
I don't think that this engine is taken out from a swift nose cut, because I can't recall a version of swift with a M13A non VVT in any market.
Fellows, i got this from swift half cut. 2005 to 2008 swift jdm r also came in vvt. Do see details in wikipedia n suzuki forum. Anyhow M13A is under the alto hood...thts the thread USP

vvt for never introduce in pakistan's market vvt is not just economcal it more powerfull as well

cvt transmission was never interdouced in m13a version of swift it introduce in k12a in thailand only with paddel shift
Who said tht this is pakistani swift engine?? Kabuli always stands for engines inmorted frm japan, malaysia or dubai. Vvt swift is running in japan since early 20s.

Nice piece of effort,why not manual though?i had a santro M18A manual project like a couple of years back, and alto's are good at power handling, there had been G15 alto's too running around, there are some with 4efte's too still running. goodluck!
