its normal for the coolant to go into the reservoir bottle with a hot engine, its basic physics - the coolant expands when it gets hot and the cap allows the system to purge above 13 psi pressure - it will suck that coolant back when it cools down. The little hat in the radiator cap does this job..
Leave it be! a normal running system will have hard radiator hoses with hot engine and expansion tank would be filled above normal level which you left it with. The system will take about 2 cycles to stabilise, then you wont need to perform radiator pani zyaratt every day.
however to make this system work perfectly the expansion tank hose should be tight fitting on the radiator cap housing itself and also on the tank cap all the way into the tank where its dipped. Any loose hose here will cause the system to suck air as air is lighter than liquid (same principle like drinking with a holed straw)
