Hi Experts,

I have alto vxr 2008, The problem is that i had replaced water body about 2 months ago along with thermostat installed because of winters coming. After that i am facing a problem, whenever i go to long route, after some kms on high rpm, radiator starts to throw water to reservoir and ultimately after 200kms, car starts to overheat. Then i have to open the radiator cap and when air escapes from the radiator, then it becomes normal as radiator sucks back the water from reservoir. car is normal in city as it doesn't behave like this nor sucking much water from reservoir in routine, only creates problem on long routes. Kindly advise me but keep in mind following information:
1. Radiator cap replaced
2. Radiator cleaning done
3. No bubbles in radiator whenever i check it with full water level in radiator.

Water Body might be faulty.
Mine had the similar issue but the water was actually leaking from the water body.
Get your engine's water body checked.

I can tell u from my own experience .
I own alto 07 and had same issue when i was going uphill and temp gauge would just start dancing going up and down for no good reason even in winter .
I poured coolent , radiator was cleaned . Head screw were tightend . Fan was on direct . No thermostat value was installed .
Just out of no where i came up with an idea and bought a new gauge ( just below thermostat value ) and replaced it .
Guess what ? My fan is on auto now , thermostat is installed and heat needle never move from middle (50%) .
It was just a malfunctioning gauge which i replaced rs 400 .

pak suzuki original rad fan switch cost 150rs. denso cost 800rs so above poster is right change thaat switch first

Facing this exact same problem on my 2006 alto. I got the radiator replaced at first but still occurring. Anything that fixed it?

same problem with my Alto VXR 2010
and same measures taken...
but still problem is thair..
Last week my car was heatup due to broken belt of self system and water body.
I didn't noticed and car gone heat up to middle now continuesly same type of problems accrued

Bro i had same issue ... checked with many people.. jitni mou utni batein... Yr radiator cap issue.. get it replaced by cap 1.1 number instead of 0.9
