5 episodes in...am I the only one that thinks more money has actually degraded the contents?
It is like they are spending their energy to show-off they have lots of money but the contents are not as interesting as the old Top Gear. That military strike film was boring, too long and a complete waste of resources.
Building a mud-car was a similar story...too long, too choreographed, and frankly outright boring. The celebrity part looked good for the first time but that's where it should have stopped. It is pointless and more of a time-filer now.
I hope they go back to being their old selves...more creative, more entertaining, better editing, and less flashing money around uselessly that results in downgrading contents. I would rather have an "epic race" of 3 funny men or them trying to find the source of the river Nile in 3 cheap cars rather than the 3 trying to film a military mission.
