Yes dear you are right, this way goes to Chitta Katha lake. In your picture, Chitta Katha village is more prominent too.

We left Taobat Ar 14:00 and reached about 16:00 to Kel.
Here are some shots which we captured from Halmat to Sardari

We stayed at Neelum Guest house in main bazar of kel adjacent to Lari Adda. Taken lunch at Pak Kashmir Hotel(Jeewan Chacha ka hotel). Finalized our next day's plan for Shounter and then went for sleep.

We left Taobat Ar 14:00 and reached about 16:00 to Kel.

How did you manage to reach KEL from Taobut in just 2 hours ? I have covered this distance in 4 hours least.
Oh, you were sitting at the next seat to me. right ?

What about the supposed jeep track from Kel to Astore via Shounter and Rattu being constructed by Pak Army back in 2010?
Did you hear about it or was it only fiction???

I m not sure either it was completed/started before or not but locales said that, due to mighty Glacier in the way, it couldn't succeeded/ started. They also said that might the project be amended by a tunnel into the glacier to complete the route. When? Allah Knows better!

We reached Kel at about 17:00 and stayed at Neelum guest house.

We started our trek towards early in the morning and reached Areng Kel after a 2.5hours trek.
Trek to Areng Kel starts from the Kel Bazar towards Parbat Hotel. Tourest Motel Kl is also situated in the way. We have to descend first to reach at Neelum, then crossed it via a suspended wooden bridge and then ascending or climbing to some places to reach Areng kel.

It was a bit difficult trek. We got tired and did stop after every minute walk/climb. And finally we reached Areng Kel with dimming eyes.

But coming scenes were eye opener for us.
