but 13000 kms is nothing for the old Denso compressor - they are only one rung short of ironbody Harrisson GM compressors of the 70s on the longevity ladder - they are so incredibly long life that they worked without flaw or load in the arabian deserts on old toyota cressidas. I think the A/C in this car is an aftermarket fit - and the radiator was changed at that time too.

but its a very clean specimen, and to protect the gold cadmium plating on every bracket, spray WD40 to clean them and apply a metal protectant (contact a place that sells guns)

hmm - interesting point Levin, now I recall - the 76 corolla KE30 - should have horizontal louvres in the grille with slanted louvers within and the bonnet should have an arrow depression in the centre of it.

Is it a quality restoration?

the chassis plate should be riveted to the body not screwed.

i personally dnt knw the differnce in the dashboard and front grill between a 76 and a 79 but iv seen the car its total genuine but still il go and check this dashboard point of urs again and il post some pics of the car book aswell

If keeping old cars in excellent condition is such a good idea then y don't we all keep 1 car each (Any1 of current playing on roads) and keep, rather store it at some place then one day our son after getting married and having 2 - 3 kids will sell it to his friend and that friend will post its pictures on some car forum...

It's reconditioned or came in quota what's the story behind it?

once i saw an opel of same model in same condition,nd it ws sold for 550k.
btw regarding this one,it seems v well kept nd even if its restored....smwn hasdone a gr8 job.

either people dont know what they are looking at or they dont want to talk about it..
its not a 76 model. its a late 78 - to 79 car. or if it was a 76 its been changed to 79.

i know someone who owns a 76 corolla in pindi, UK model, silver grey.
i learnt driving on 75 myself. there was hardly any difference in 75 and 76.

77 was different and then 79 was different.

74 and 80 was totally different than 75 to 79.
