by the pictures I find some items to be a little strange for 13000 kms - the radiator has been changed, the A/C compressor used is of later model, the original A/C compressor of the 70s and early 80s used in corollas was a small york style ND unit and the drier was placed near the firewall.

One thing that everybody missed out is the fact that old Toyota odometers read to the last rolling digit... This way, the odometer would return to 000000 after 999,999 KM. This car, according to its odo has done 133,862 KM and not 13 Thousand 3 Hundred and Eighty Six KM.

If we assume for a moment that it was a five digit odometer, then in that case the meter would reset to 00000 after every 99,999 (One Lac) KM, so we can never know whether this reading of 13 thousand is actually only thirteen thousand or one lac thirteen thousand or two lac thirteen thousand and so forth.

You are absolutely right Mr. Xulfiqar, the radiator speaks for its genuine running, along with the other things you have mentioned.

Having said so, the car still is definitely very well-kept, keeping in mind its age.

I have the same model it is 1978 Ke 30 not 1976.My was imported from Germany Brand new and is better than this car.As many parts in this are not genuine.e.g radiator.The front grill embelem is missing seats.etc

You are right.I have the genuine Ke 30 1978 dec.corolla.much in better condition as compared to this one.imported brand new feom germany.Driven 79thousand km petrol

I am clueless about this car, this car is an anomaly and should not even exist. How can the condition be so pristine if it's not been restored. An unbelieve sight, deserving a revisit.
