An Idea to Make Car AC Work Better

There is no problem with the air conditioners of Alto, Mehran and Cultus, no matter what you do they will give you limited cooling when they are idle. At 1000 or 800 rpm engine speed the compressor gets very limited power to operate, but when the rpms reach from 2500 to 3000 the compressor starts to work at its max efficiency.

As far as showering the condenser with water, it won't do any good because the designers are well aware of the fact that when you stop at a light your condenser is sucking the exhaust air of the car in front of you. Hence they always design condensers slightly bigger than actual design parameters.

I don't know about the local manufacturers but the cars being used in Gulf have special air conditioners to cope up with the high ambient temperatures of 55 Celsius.

Salam.i know its a very old thread but as summers approachinng so i though lets share it. I already am using this tecnique.my car is a Honda Fit hybrid,(not now). Its original radiator and Ac condesor is big(full) and was sufficeint in any weather.now its swapped k24a2 and is turbo.so now intercooler is blocking half of radiator and Ac condensor.plus to make intercooler fit,i had to switch to half radiator and half Ac condensor.system works fine except in extreme summer and stop/go traffic or traffic jams the Ac looses its performance.as my car had a rear wiper and spray so i routed that to front spray system to Ac and radiator.
Its rarely needed except traffic jams in June/July .so i am happy with it and the spray nozzles are very fine tip which causes very less water loss and more area coverage.from my extimation and size of my bottle,its enough for almost 100 sprays.which is more than enough.
In pics you will note i have given different directions to nozzles to spray different areas.i operate it with back viper button.i have unplugged back wiper wire so it does not scratch the rear windscreen by running dry.
The front wiper and its nozzles are still intact and works fine.

With the engine change, a bigger radiator and condenser with more airflow is the proper solution.

yes you are right.that is the correct way but i did not have space of them. Initially i had full size rad and Ac condesnsor, but condensor was in front of it as it is commonly. So there was no space of intercooler. So we had to shift to half size radiator and Ac condensor and shifted Ac condensor back with radiator side by side. and now there is intercooler where Ac condesnsor was.
i know its a compromise and but i works for me.

You can still fit in a higher heat loss capacity radiator and condenser with more fine and passage area in the same physical size and add more airflow by more powerful fans.

yes already done. The radiator is aftermarket with dual pass,i.e, the coolant passes two times from fins.so it works like same as a big single core radiator. Both fans are aftermarket. Mishimoto.
The main reason for water spray was that air flow is half due to front mount intercooler,so when car is stopped in traffic jam in june/july the Ac performance suffers. The coolant temps remain in normal range without the spray but i have installed them anyway to be safe

How many CFMs do the fans push out compared to the stock units?

2300 CFMs for one Mishimoto fan.i have two,one behind radiator and one behind Ac condensor. I have also ordered the Spal spiral pull type fan for Ac condensor,that is rated to 3000CFM.(i dont know when will it arrive due to all trade delays because of Corona virus)
and i dont know what stock Honda fans are rated at??

Without knowing the stock fan CFMs, it is impossible to determine whether the Mishimoto fans are moving more air or not.
