Brother there are 2 price brackets less than 55K & less than 75K.
For the first one Nikon D3200 is best, D5100 is an upper grade camera but its 2 years old and in Photography 2 years means 2 decades.
D5100 is no match with the 24MP sensor and Expeed 3 Processor of the D3200.
D3200 does not have the autofoucs motor but neither D5100 has it.
The only difference between D5100 is that it has AE bracketing and in camera filters.
For less than 75K Nikon D5200 is best.
Nikon D3200 = 52K, D5100 = 55K, Canon T3i = 57K.
Canon always wins in low noise and low light photography that is why I always recommends Canon T3i but Nikon D3200 is much better in speed and resolution unless you do not have canon lenses lying around.
EOS 100D is a very good camera and unbeatable package but its pretty expensive at around 68K.
I would also recommend to buy a compact enthusiast camera to try first before going for an DSLR.
A Nikon P300 for 24K will give you a fast F1.8 24mm lens with BSI cmos sensor and full HD stereo movies in a pocketable camera.
There is no need to buy a DSLR unless you are ready yet.
