How do you differentiate between the Pakistani and Arab shawermas?

Pakistani ones have good flavour or as I m used to it and Arab ones have salty taste with out any sauces.

Here is my take on the shawerma taste difference.

Lebanese Chicken shawerma comes with Garlic sauce, while the Hadrami Beef Shawerma comes with a spicy Gravy sauce. There is Tahini sauce as well in beef shawerma. ln addition, there are also Parsley leaves in chicken and beef shawerma.

The Pakistani Shawerma usually comes with sweet ketchup. There is no parsley usually. So its usually sweet, which is the main difference.

Arabic shawerma one ofcourse [emoji39] [emoji39] [emoji39] I cant stand sweet shawerma unfortunately.

I was born in Saudi Arabia, so I developed a taste for the Arabic cuisine from an early age.

pakistani shawarma doe is thick, arabic is thin. arabic dow also different at different places. both taste have their own place. me like both.

You are correct. Pakistani Shawerma uses Pitta bread, whereas the Arabic shawerma comes in shaami bread. The Turkish shawerma usually comes in tortilla wrap, which is even thinner like a chappati..
