Try as they may no one can stop contamination and food adulteration even in a sharp city like NY for example. Ever so often local authorities conduct surprise checks on street vendors , diners and hotels and the horror stories will put you off food for life. All these are documented by local tv stations and press, also in youtube.
Food trucks food taste good but they're fried and refried , full of lard, gamey butter, questionable cheese and God knows what else to make the food taste good like processed and powdered onion, garlic etc. Not good for health at all,I like @Mod avoid meat/poultry outside in nyc especially Jackson Heights and Buffet restaurants.lol
I left out one other buffet place in Chennai that i frequent and i found a video clip of it!
