Alhamdulillah, yesterday I bought a new LED panel for my bedroom. Previously I had a 32" Samsung LCD, which was quite small for a bedroom, and I didn't enjoy it too much.
I was not too sure about the right LED, as i had been out of the game for a couple of years. Upon quick research, I notice LG was doing good these days. So I auditioned the LG LED panels and compared them with the Samsungs, the Panasonics and the Sonys. In the end, I felt good about the LG picture quality, design and price.
So I got myself a 43" LG LED this time. This is a full HD, non smart TV. It will go in our bedroom. We watch TV and movies on it. For movies, I have a streaming network setup in our home with 1080p playback over ethernet cabling. Unboxing pictures continue.

20 minutes later, all hooked up and ready to go;
The sound quality is pretty loud, after we played a little bit with its settings. It sounds fuller now.
The colour reproduction and picture quality is not too shaby. Although, nowhere near the black levels of my Panasonic or earlier Pioneer plasma.
However, this will do for now.
