As you all know that my FJ is all done, its waiting for the tyres only. Coz Yokohamas are not available at almost ten shops I visited.
Though Asad sb at Asad Tires(Rawalpindi) says that currently Yokohama Geolander is out of stock with him.

Now the thing is that I have short listed two brands GT Radial and Dunlop. Dunlop are cheaper...I would like to get you feedback on Dunlop..The tyre dealers who do not have Dunlop say they are defective in common language they say (Dunlop Phool jata hai) how true is this..and how do you compare these two brands....

Tomorrow I have to finalize and buy the tyres.

If you have not yet finalized the rim than go for 16 size bcoz 15 rims are cheaper but tires are rare and expensive due less demand world wide so the manufacturing reduced......16 rims and tires are ok in rate and easily available whereas 17 rims are expensive but tires are cheaper than 15 and 16. We all know that engine is heart of a 4x4 and tires are kidneys so don't push yourself to buy what ever is available in the market at the moment....Yokohama's are the best so wait till it is available..Don't constrain yourself to buy which is not experienced.......I bought 4 used rims with tires from a friend couple of days back....the tires are Dunlop and they are in the same condition as the tire dealer said to you(Dunlop phool jata hai) and reason may be that those tires were not in use from the last 2-3 years so decide yourself....I recommend Yokohama even if you have to wait for it...

Almost all the tyres in market are of 2 -3 years old and there dates are tampered. I had experince as tampered dates tyre are hard and dont last long and have a rough ride i will recomend go to orginal dealers of bridgestone and buy from them they only keep bridgestone and have fresh stock though they are little expensive from market but worth it.

I got the inspiration from a lot a brothers on Pakwheels who rebuilt the J40s, with you being one of them.
Yes I will post the pics of the interior soon...I am in the process of finding Rims. That is the only delay.
