What the figures usually don't tell you is how each engine gets to the peak figures, graphs are a little better, but even then you cannot capture the feel of a bigger displacement engine properly. I have timed a 1HZ 70 series at around 14/15 secs zero to hundred and with full 9.5 inch TLC heavy duty diffs a 1KZ would probably find it difficult to match the time. Also remember a friend's UN TLC100 with a 1HZ which I initially thought ran a 1HDT as it was quite fast and very smooth.
