A very welcome addition this time on KKH was these informative boards that have increased the beauty of the highway many times. There are several such boards now where ever there is something of significance for tourists.

Allah....please save these boards from urs sharif, maelaad sharif, hidmut Sharif and tubdeelee sharif.

Crossed rakaposhi view point with a plan to stay here for lunch when I will start return lag.

Last time road was very bad ahead of view point but this time it was breeze. At this location there was a landslide that had made me wait an hour. Now problem is solved.

It was 6 when I reached Aliabad.....now looking much civilized with completed section of KKH. My plan was to hit attabad lake very next morning and then stay a day or so later....so I stopped at NATCO udda to get an understanding of how to cross the lake with my car. They shared a couple of numbers of the boatmen.

Maghrib time was approaching, so I drove up to karimabad and got a very nice room for 1,200 rupees. After namaz, called the boatman and closed the deal at 4,000 rupees return trip to transport the car.

All set.....it was time to order food....ehhh 850 rupees for half chicken qorma. When the order was served, it was small serving. Anyhow, bill reached 1,100 mark with roti, salad and a botul. Shukur hae, I made my own tea. May be Lahore Lahore aay.....

After isha namaz, It was time to sleep.

End of day 5.
