u mentioned going to khunjerab pass zero point in november of a year, in dead winter. im wondering how was your trip throughout KKH in that month. im sure most of the roads at that point in winter would've been covered in snow most of the time, and most sections not cleared due to remoteness? how did you go about doing that?
im not a summer person and would like to travel KKH in winter or cold weather so that most areas that get snow will have snow...not so much that its unmanageable but enough to provide some fun. choice of car will be a 4x4 with snow tires, tire chains other necessities.
when would you recommend leaving for a trip of that kind that will take us through that stuff? Manana thanks in advance.
