I read about tail lights out etc, Please add some reflective tape stuck to the rear and front of the car at the lower edges, saw this in Zambia when I was a kid - it was to reflect and show the cars position at night stopped or moving.
If for any reason your car's lights fail or anything happens - you have this as backup. Also stick some to the insides of the doors so when you open them they shine red and can be seen by the cars approaching from the rear of your car, specially helps in a black car at night.
