Can any one tell me is there any device that I can connect to my Sony CD Player to play songs from USB? It has an AUX Option too. I don't want to use FM Modulator.

there is a very good DIY in the DIY section with which you can hook up FM modulator to AUX in of ur pre for a pretty decent output. you should check it out. other than that sony might have a usb/ipod adopter option but that usually is expensive

Similar situation was with me with my sony cdx-v2800 player. it was hanging alot and one day it stops reading..... I showed to many repair man but all of them were saying different things.. One said Card is blown.. one said Lens is blown and other this is blown...blah blah etc..... I am now ended with purchasing FM Modulator....

car is khyber bass box is in the spare wheel area as m using no spare wheel bass box size is such that the whole spare wheel area is covered

get the track on which the lens moves. i think there might be some dirt on it thats why when it goes to edge of the cd, if stop playing

It is a common problem with Car CD/ DVD players. To my mind, it is better to use USB flash drive. Keep several USB drives and copy DVD/ CD tracks on the USB. It works perfect

AOA, I have bought Pioneer sub TS-309S4 with long basetube.
It's shaking whole house windows with LOW BASS songs, very clear bass.
But very bad on songs with beat or drum bass, the strokes are flat and very hard, no depth.
So what do you suggest to balance it or what is the problem?
(The setup is Pioneer Pre with sub option. PRE-OUT is set on Subwoofer output for AMP. 400Watt Korean amplifier connected with subwoofer only, it is also set with LOW PASS filter ON. Two speakers (original 318) directly connected with Pre. I only play recorded CD, no MP3s) Thanks Ali

i meant to say get the track on which the lens moves cleaned. player open kerwa k us ki motor ko saaf kerwao. another reason might be that ur cd is slipping or vibrating...

you can only play low notes on a low tuned box or high notes on a high tuned box. the best option will be to tune the box somewhere in the middle. dont know about 309 but 308's best tuning frequency was 38 hz. btw what are the LPF settings from from pre and the amp? also mention the box dimension and port size. post pics as well

Box Dimensions: L:29", H:15.5", W:13"
Rectangle Port: L:11.5" W:3.4"
Amp just has a switch with setting: Low Pass/Flat/High. (Its set on Low Pass)
In Pre, I am not sure if its LPF, under Subwoofer setting; there is one option with 50/80/125. (Its set to 80)

How can I know about my basetube frequency tuning. No one in the market know about this. Do you know someone in Lahore who can make a custom box with this knowledge?
