I need advice on getting a new audio system for Suzuki Baleno. Requirements are:

1. CD/USB player (fast read speeds and good file support)
2. 2 speakers for the rear
3. I am connecting existing front speakers but if budget allows will buy 2 additional front speakers as well

Budget is 20K max. Priority is clean sound.

If you can recommend a good audio supplier fitter in Karachi it will be great.

ok boys , this is a followup to the original thread i had made. Tht thread has become in a real mess lately with ppl coming and just shooting watever they like...... I plan to make this new thread so tht i can make it better for the ppl who really need help... Somthing which i would like to mend is...

do you want to run all four speakers or just two?

I want to run pair of 6975s and pair of 6939r means total 4 speakers.

Parallel wire the left 2 speakers to the left channel and Parallel wire the right 2 speakers to the right channel. You would wire the Positive wires together at the Positive and the negative wire to the negative terminal. This would produce a 2 ohm stereo load. This would allow you to Balance the sound left to right.

the amp is rated at 85W@2ohm load. remember to keep the gain on low do cancel the noise that may occure.

No. Although still they can play fine but you need more rms if you want them to perform at their true potential.

so which 2ch amp to go for which provides them optimum power and is in 6-7k range?

Look for any branded amp which can do 140rms approx at 2ohms. But you should know that its the one of the ingredients for the recipe.

Ideally you shouldn't be wasting money to achieve which isn't going to help you anyway. Get rid of all 4 speakers on the board and spend on front stage if you are that curious. Lose 2 speakers and you will be fine with the same amp. Additional 2 drivers wont add any sq but the noise.

I HV A PROB... i hv casette player in mi car... it work with casette fine... but when i use mp3 player (at cigrette lighter place) voice coming frm speaker is v low.... with full volume of both casette n mp3... same mp3 used in other car, works fine... i dnt knw y v low sound comes in mi car

AOA.. i have a prius touring 10th anniversary.. and as you can see from the pic.. the PRE does not have USB/Aux
now i want a solution for MP3 playback.. also the steering as audio and pre controls.. i want them to work as well.. please tell me any solution to this problem.. i am in lahore and live near Mont gomery road..

Do u use fm tuner or using it in aux. I think you may have a problem with your cassette player. Best bet is to replace the unit. You can easily get a entry level pioneer pre in 5k with usb playback.

I have recently purchased honda city JDM and the frequency range of its FM doesn't match the local range. It starts at 74 and ends at 90, While most of local FM channels tune at a frequency higher than that. Any solutions?

Few capacitors, and one small coil on the tuner module on pcb board need to be changed. Try good mechanic, may be he can do it for you

Pruis comes with 2 sets. One with base model and other with upgraded stereo (jbl one).
By the looks it seems base model, and by no means it can take aux unless a mechanic gets very creative with it.
