QUESTION::
which woofer will works good with ur amp in sealed enclosure around 1.0 cubic ft..
i have following ..
pioneer 307D4 400 rms
kenwood 3011 400 rms
kenwood 3010 200 rms
1204D JBL=is bit damaged/repaired spider so not installing it ..

if u r recommending me d4 sould i give 8 ohm load or 2 ??

for sealed, see a woofer which has the most xmax. see the technical specs of the woofer. the most max xmax is good for ur sealed. and get d2 and give it 4ohms load.

D is mono amp. it can go down to 1 ohms. where as f2000 is 2 channel. it cant go below 4 ohms. both amps are good. u should try to match the ohms load with the amp.

why do people use foam inside the wall of enclosure ?
i guess so , use of foam increase air drag (air friction)
that will reduce echo of boomy sound inside enclosure ,
so it will increase bass quality by reducing delay timing in bass? (echo of boomy sound)
what do you think ?

foam is used to decease the distrotion caused by the inner walls. but using too much foam can make an enclosure smaller. ppl use foam or polyfill in sealed enclosures cause the pressure inside a sealed box is more. so the reduce the inner wall noise ppl use foam. but adding to much foam will give u a negative effect. it will reduce the box size and the sub will find the box even smaller.

i have seen many systems running on thin wires but they never get hot. check ur battery and ground.

bandpass is the most difficult box to make. u better stick with ported.

the service manual for this amp is all crap. the amp is 4 ohms stable. or atleast thts wat i have tested.

yes it does get dim. its due to alternator and battery as well. somtimes its also grounding. the wire which connects the alternator to the battery is very thin . u need to upgrade tht wire as well.

u can just connect the engine , chasis and the battery neg. with a piece of wire alltogether.

Bro i have got woofer lying around, Boshman 500 watts. The problem is that due to a power surge by my amplifier the woofer just lost it bass and started giving brr brr sound and the coil was not vibrating as it should.
So i would like to know how much will it take to get it repaired ? Or kindly give me an estimate if i want to sell it out.

shop keepers dont recommend because its SVC and they think svc is less heavy then dvc *stupid concept

and i dont recommend because they made of alimunium cone (3011 i think. thts the only strong sub directly compared to 307) and to me , alimunium cone is just not happening
