Any experince of Inverter AC: Gree or Acson. Purpose is to run it on Generator

need recommendations from PW friends about Haier OR Gree

I bought 1.5 Ton Gree Inverter AC last year (May 2015, Model: 18CITH1b)

Installed it on ground floor room. There's a room above this one.

At start, it displayed temperature of 32 deg C and took current = 9A

After about 10 mins, it achieved 25 deg C set point and current reduced to 3A.

I don't have any inverter ac in my house but a friend has panasonic inverter and they're really good and consume half of what my mitsubishi and general ac consume.

It is winter,25th Dec.its chilling in Sargodha.i dont know where to post this but i tested our Gree inverter AC in heating mode.it is very nice and gets the room cozy at 30C. i checked the amp with meter and it was taking 3.48 amps on low fan setting and 3.78 on full fan setting. so thats 220x3.48=765 Watts. so thats nice as blowers take from 1000-2000watts.
its a 1.5 ton AC which takes near 9 amps in summer to cool.so to clearify this that the heating function does't take same amount of volts.so its very economical even in winters.so guys my advice when you buy Dc invetrer AC,buy those which have cool as well as heating function.those cost few thousands more than only cooling ones.

Suggestion needed to run 1.5 Gree inverter on generator, is it possible to run it on 3 or 5 kev gen

Should be possible to run 1.5 Ton on generator easily if its 5KV. On 3 KV, run just AC and no other load...
