well i have made several trips in the region. once i covered from Jehlum (near the phatak on GT road) and emerged at KK after Khewra salt mines Choa saidan Shah and Ketas. once i made a trip to mianwali (a couple of times actually) and saw the kalabagh salt mines.
i have made a couple of trips to Soan valley and sakasar peak (also seen snow fall there). and many times to KK and nearby areas like nelawahn and Thandoi lakes and pools.
my adive was that u have now great guidance unlike me who had to discover all the areas on my own.... u shud cober them all in one long trip if u can.....
have the honbor of seeing the ruins of Alberuni's astromny labs at BahanWali, Alexender mounmentin Chimkun Vally and Grave of Hazzrat haam (AS) son of Hazrat Nooh (AS)
