Toyota Prius price starts from 1.475 million to 1.85 million -

Prius warranty is not covered by any Toyota 3S shop in Pakistan. They even do not have basic firmware update in their scan tools to scan Prius - Warranty is applicable only in country of sale.

me too finally decided to go for PRIUS ... have been reading and researching on this car from the last few weeks ... can any1 plz give a price check of 2nd gen. 2009 model ??? here in karachi ??

coz as far as i concluded .. 2nd gen. hybrid prius is much more better then the 1st gen.

2ndly .. toyota itself gives u 8 years full warranty ( parts + labor ) for the battery pack and the hybrid system ... so if i go for 2009 model .. i will still have 5 years of warranty ...

even the battery pack and hybrid system warranty which is of 8 years or 150000miles is also not applicable in pakistan ...

a friend recently bought a prius
in Karachi traffic, that car gave 26 km/l with AC with a light foot on the accelerator and in normal it is giving 20-22 km/l

means 800 cars a day - really ??? must be producing at multiple plants 24/7 across Japan. the 2009 is W-30 series In Pakistan so far W-20 & W-10 cars are landing.

Vancouver in Canada & State of New York, US - are switching to Toyota Prius for Taxis. There will be no cab licence renewal for liquid fuel cars beyond 2015

^^ not just Prius, the americans have an army of Hybrid Vehicles, currently the GM produced Chevrolet Volt is being pushed, its got an $8000 subsidy. Still its pretty expensive. The reason hybrid cars work in the US is that they have a support system for them from the manufacturer. Its not like if a Prius breaks down they wheel it to "ustaad"

am following CONTINUUM - I saw the Prius NHW-20 series as taxis in it lined up outside clubs. Checked over net and got the info for NY as well. For any Hybrid vehicle in Pakistan problem(s) will remain of support and test-lamp electrician will dismantle the chocolate smell over heated transmission Motors for REWIND in cooperative market

I own one .. 1.8L 2010 new shape and i sold a Honda Civic Vti Oriel 2013 to buy a Prius.. Its a different ball game with Japanese imports The Build Quality is outstanding the Ride is comfortable much better than Oriel. Fuel Economy in real world is around 24Kpl depending on how you drive. ... Dont buy the 1.5 Variant as it low on power and less on fuel economy and 1.5 suffers a lot on motorway . The 1.8 Variant has a sucker punch specially on power mode ... Prius is without a doubt best car to purchase if you have a Budget and want to have a comfortable ride without the worry of stopping at a fuel station after 500km... 1 full tank of Prius and ull get around 1000 or 1100 kms

i think you are going on the right track

here in srilanka the government gave a duty reduction on hybrids and the prius and honda insight are a huge sucess

i personally drive an axio b new

i must say the axio and the prius are all over the road

i don know what year u r looking at but the new gen prius is absolutely superb the axio is no match it is better then the premios i think

it is crazily loaded with funny options like from a space car it is that good

acceleration ! dont worry i think u dont know prius come electric motor + petrol motor so when your throttle is down u will be getting unmatched acceleration almost in the mark x category

well according to our policy makers and big car dealers would loose so the y have net incoureged the prius

enjoy the car till u have it.if u r some one who is looking to keep it for minimum 4 years u can benifit with a liil profit

but if u wana get rid of it soon be prepared

i want to know that what prius can rid on offtracks like village tracks and bad tracks can you ride it on village our you only drive it in city you better know pakistani roads so can you tell me about prius on that type of roads iam also considering to buy a prius but the problem istracks ofpakistan

If you want to drive on crappy roads , then prius is not a good car. Corolla is best!

ali usman bhai the thing is that we currently own 4 prius in stock and about 5 are on the way, our main business is car import from japan, i have driven quite a few of them and had one back in 2007, when many didnt even know what hybrid technology meant.

Which generation you are talking about 2nd or 3rd

2nd gen is a tad higher than the newer, 3rd gen.
I've seen a UK model 3rd gen in Rajanah, so I assume that either he drives slooooowly or only allows 1-2 extra passengers...
