Anyone installed trunk light in City 2010

No light in trunk no problem,we are pakistani and must have used of load-sheding(just kidding).
Check my thread as mention in start of replies also for easines posting my city 2010 and instalted light.

its a shame for honda atlas not for pak suzuki or toyota indus infact toyota corolla xli has high mount stop lamp with led and tunk light and this city does not have this features.It only features power windows and abs more than xli even city does not have heat guage.honda atlas is increasing the prices and giving the poor quality and low features.

No they are offering it in GLI not in XLI.

may be in initial years they launch plain car and later on add trunk light, high mount lamp, change or add fog lamps to enhance sales (when going down).

bhai sab i own xli 09.. there's only frame for high mount lamp.. u have to put in bulbs by urself

Im also looking to install the boot light in my City 2010, without having to drill any holes anywhere. Any leads on how to go about it?

they have given a space for light in trunk cover, you have to bend down and have to see upwards on trunk cover....u will see the light installation space there....no need to make holes in ur trunk buddy....

You must have installed it by yourself of if you got it from another person then he may have got it fitted,
Indus motors are not offering highmounted stop lamp in XLI but it can be installed later.

Yes there is an in built space for trunk light and there may be a switch also installed somewhere since if u open the trunk u get a warning light in the instrument cluster.

Yes you are right,
Xli is having a heat gauge.
The City is having a check light system to indicate engine heatup.
If the car heats up then the check light turns red which on normal temperature is green.

If there is space provided then, one has to get the OE light and wiring harness which are unfortunately not being provided by Honda Atlas at the moment. I checked with Honda dealership and they said that they dont have the light right now and they also warned me that if I tried to install an aftermarket light and fiddled with the electric systems of the the car in any way, the vehicle's warranty would be terminated. Absolutely rubbsih policy if you ask me. Firstly they dont provide you such a basic feature and on top of it dont even let you install it. Still looking for the trunk problem. Any leads?
