Anyone who prefers normal 125 on deluxe?

Now whats the point of a fifth gear?fifth gear is generally good for economy or top speed but for deluxe in 5th gear at 60km/h it is doing about 6000revs and thats the same as classic 125.so it not economical.Then i guess its useless,as you said it slows the bike down.Aerodynamic properties of deluxe arent really better than the classic 125.If it had better aerodynamic properties,it shold have a higher top speed as compared to the classic but the reality is different.It has lower top speed.Moreover the acceleration of the deluxe is just better off the mark and the deluxe cant stay in the lead for more than 5 seconds.So deluxe has a Cruiser tyre?I didnt know that,but the name "cruiser"doesnt suggest it should be fast.It shows it should be comfortable.

don't get confuse in b/w deluxe and classic both bike are pathetic speaking at personal experience if you want a 125cc bike buy piaggio and enjoy economy more than classic and power much better than deluxe with very comfortable ride

I personally haven't driven piaggio and there is not many where I live, but today I went to canntt. I saw army guys patrolling on Piaggio bikes.So, there must be something good about it as army bought their green color signature bike. I wanted ask them for pics but than they left. I might ask them next time I will go there.

mine is usually around 5000rpm i will try to post pic of it also.
Actually my cousins have two 125, no changes made to them full stock version, and both have way less speed compared to deluxe. I had 125, that had top speed of 103km/h on one person riding it. Where deluxe has 112km/h with 2 on it.

See the user maunal for the deluxe.They say top speed:97km/h for deluxe..however 120km/h was indicated by my classic.Do yourself a favour,both bikes produce same power and one is 116kg and the other is 96kg.which should be faster?other than mass,the larger size may look sportier but it offers greater resistance to air,therefore it has lower top speed and acceleration.Thats common sense/observation or basic physics.

ome more thing,that gps idea isnt really the most accurate.i searched and they said if the internet connection is working fine,there is still a doubt of 0.1 to 05 MPH and if the internet connection is not working so well,your vehicle's speedometer maybe relatively mote accurate.yes what they also said vehicle's own/built in or stock speedometer would usually indicate more speed but i dont really see a problem with that.even if it isnt accurate,still makes you happy and even better if are winning the race at the same time.

GPS assisted apps don't need internet at all sir. and meters are not accurate mostly ... the most accurate speed detection is done by satellite, even Bugatti Veyron speed test was done with help of GPS to identify its true speed.

GPS assisted apps don't need internet at all sir. and meters are not accurate mostly ... the most accurate speed detection is done by satellite, even Bugatti Veyron speed test was done with help of GPS to identify its true speed.

Oh yes,my mistake.gps hasnt got a thing to do with internet.but you must admit its not the most accurate.most say its more accurate and reliable but there is uncertainity in every single measurement.no measurement can be purely absolute.and as far as Bugatti is concerned,they use the vehicle's speedometer.see james may's top speed run.

You are right it probably is a gps thing.and think its correct to use gps,i used it just about 20 mins ago on my classic 125 and got this.this is not yet the hardest try at all just was going fast.i will do a top speed run on it and lets see if i can crack 120km/h on gps too!

nice speed I have seen CG125classic clocking 116kmh on GT road with GPS ... try ulyses speedometer it has the minimum error rate and fastest refresh rate and give much better correct speed indicators.

Busa trying hard to compete with ZX. The first generation Busa was 1299cc but after the launch of ZX14 in 2007 which was a replacement of ZX12R. ZX14 was 1352cc, Suzuki realized they have to upgarde the old engine and other specs. So they launched 2nd Generation Hayabusa in 2008 with bigger displacement of 1340cc, but again Kawasaki back with bang in 2012 with 1441cc displacement. The war is not over.. In coming year Suzuki has planned to upgrade the engine to 1450cc and most probably we will see ZX15 or ZX16 in next 5 years on roads.

GPS is possible in some SUVs and high profile sedans but in Pakistani bikes lol.. first they must install digital speedos in every bike

No not really, I was riding in the city. I went to that speed just to take pic. I can make a video if you want me to show you.
Its 2013 model. Just keep the bike well maintained and change the oil after every 1200km. Get it properly serviced and all well be well.
