Totally removed from the phone, check mobilink's website on iphone page, it says facetime is banned by PTA... I would rather buy it from the local market, with SAME pricing and WITH facetime
Apple does care about the aesthetics of its products. I'm confident they won't allow them to do that under contract.
PTA is a real PITA! (Get it :p)Although, if the carrier bans it no matter where you get you're phone, once you insert the sim they can decide what is and what isn't available to you.
Presently i have an ip5(frm uk) on mobilink and FaceTime works perfectly on 3g, but these iPhone 6 wont have the feature in the iPhone 6, so it's not really banned but they want to sell the phones without FaceTime
In June/July or thereabouts, Ufone updated its network and FaceTime had disappeared from my 5s. Then they released another carrier update to bring it back so I genuinely think they have the power to do that but let's see what happens. Mobile hotspot is another way they might exploit customers.
Facetime is not banned by PTA. Mobilink is importing them from UAE and facetime is banned in UAE.
