If you're spending 31 lacs, go for a 2017-2018 Civic X. Check ads on pakwheels,select 6-7 low/mid mileage, visit owners for negotiations and shortlist one in the end. Get the shortlisted one checked by pakwheels or car-sure. This is the best you can get in this price, I'm also getting one.
It has class, comfort, looks great from the outside, feels great on the inside, has a better ground clearance compared to city/yaris, accelerator pedal feels great and the only option in this range that will give you a sun-roof+cruise control+retractable mirrors.
If you're confused between this and yaris, I will suggest test driving both. These two cars do not belong in the same sentence. There's comparison with grande only.
