Can anyone recommend a good suspension shop in Lahore? My civic rebirth makes squeaking noises so want to get it fixed (not just lubricated). Took it to Honda Fort but the guy didn't even inspect the suspension, just drove around for few mins and then said don't worry about it, drive it for as long as you can.

Hello Xulfiqar bhai, @Xulfiqar I got this Mercedes 211.065 WDB2110651A040807.pdf (52.4 KB) Purchased it at 55k Km, now it around 63km Km. Fuel average is around 9.5 / 10 kmpl. Changed Gear oil by 236.10, gear oil filter, ac filter (inside one and outside ones), air filter, engine oil. Replaced steering rack solenoid valve (steering was bit stiff before, now it is much better). Replaced 4 wheels brake pads and sensors. Inspected timing belt, no sign of wear. Car is good overall. recently change the coolant
to caltex concentrate coolant add with distilled water and coolant
my mechanic said due to distilled water is used it caused the issue
he says you should used mineral water with coolant
so i did a mistake using distilled water instead of mineral water to make mixture
or its blown head gasket
Engine is 1zzfe previous using toyota red coolant

Hey guys, I am facing an issue with my 2001 Hilux 3L NA (Non turbo) engine. The issue is that, after going for a certain time, the hilux just starts missing and slowly loose its acceleration and pick while pumping the accelerator doesn't affect the movement at all. Your mechanic probably didn't do it correctly and left an air lock in the system, distill is perfectly fine for the radiator

Aoa, Pak wheelers iam driving altis 1.6 2013 from last five years and have been using havoline 20w50 oil. Is it safe to use this grade for an engine which is only driven 175k yet. Because someone has suggested that this thick oil leads to carbon deposit in engine.
The reason for using this grade is because this was previously used by the owner from which i have bought this car and i believe in using the same oil which is being used instead of shifting to a new one. You valuable inputs direly needed here especially from the experts like @Xulfiqar bro.

Best to not fidget with it. 5 years is a long time, switching to a thinner oil will leak the seals

You can try to slowly lower the grade. If you want to play it safe. 20w50 full synthetic then 15w40, 10w40, 5w40 and so on.

Use 5w 40 on next oil change and I have personally experienced that there is no difference in drive or fuel average between 5w 30 and 5w 40 when weather is cold(not minus) or extremely hot like 40 to 50 degress.

It will not leak seals if the seals and everything is intact.

It will leak if the issue is already there and is being “masked” to some extent by an extremely thick oil like 20w50.

There’s no real logic in going one grade lower and lower in steps.

Either the seals are leaked or they’re not.

5w40 or 5w30 is fine to jump to. If it doesn’t reduce significant oil as compared to past all is good.

I said if he wanted to play it safe. 20w50 might've been used for a long time on that car and at 171k too. He could just go to 10w40 instead of a 15w and then slowly lower the rating till he goes to 5w30.

Salam @Xulfiqar Sb. I am really confused with my mind to take a decision on buying a car at present. My question is that whether I should go ahead with buying a Mercedes C200 Kompressor of year 2005 or not as I have got this car inspected recently? I am also mentioning some major mechanical issues in the car for your convenience, which have been confirmed after inspection:

1. Leakage of oil from the engine. Although, the car runs smoothly but does misfire issues.
2. Multiple Misfire issues reported by the computer.
3. Both of the front ABS sensors are reported to be faulty and brakes are not working well.
4. Power steering rack issue reported by computer. While driving I personally examined and found the steering to constantly vibrate a little while going through smaller multiple bumps or on a bad road where there are many roads.

I had a low budget and was looking for a W202 but I really want to buy a W203 and this car is in my budget so I finally wanted to get suggestions from senior Pakwheelers as I have not owned a Merc before.

Your suggestion and guidelines would be really appreciated.
